Does it have to be the whole movie? Peter Quill was abducted in 1988 in Guardians of the Galaxy...

 

Will it be okay if it is just part of one episode that takes place in the 1980s?

If I may suggest another option?! Allowing a GotG entry depicting that one scene of the movie set in 1988. Just an idea. Since my entry isn't at stake, feel free to say no.

 

Very well, I rescind my No GotG ruling and will allow avatars of that particular scene.
