Taking on three Klingon assassins in Sins of the Father and dispatching two before needing a helping hand with the third. That's the Picard who took a swing at a Nausicaan twice his size.
This. Exactly this. It also has the best lead up line when, earlier in the episode, Duras says something about Starfleet officers not being trained for combat and Picard says, with utter coolness: "You may test that assumption at your convenience."
Starship Mine and Sins of the Father are two good picks. He's very stylish in both of these episodes.
