And I just finished Nemesis Games. Awesome stuff.

They could easily break each book down into an entire TV season and still never run out of ideas. The books almost read that way already, with recurring "guest star" characters and callbacks to previous novels that you only get if you're really paying attention.

"You can't take the Razorback! We are gone and gone!"

Syfy posted a new video with comments from the producers and cast members a couple weeks ago.

Sorry. If you know what network it's going to air on where you are they might have it.

Only gonna be a 10 episode run, so the wait shouldn't be long.

I started reading the books last Saturday. Already a third through the Caliban's War. So looking forward to this.

I'm probably going to be starting Leviathan Wakes some time in the next few days. I'm already reading a bunch of other stuff, so I'm not sure if I'll be done before the show starts, but I want to get as far into it as I can.

Don't let the page count fool you, The Expanse novels are actually remarkable easy to read. I pretty much zipped through each one within a week, and I've been known to be a slow reader.

I did start it the other day. I'm very curious if they're going to give us the freaky bit at the end of the prologue, and what exactly it'll look like. Does the sparrow being in the trailer mean that it's somehow significant, or was it just in there for the hell of it?

I've read a bit more now, and I'm starting to recognize scenes in the trailer, so I guess that's a good sign.
We've gotten a new page to screen video.

Apparently the guys who wrote the books are part of the writers' room, so that's a good sign.

They wrote an episode on the show, they were both on set throughout filming, as well as being executive producers.
Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham are probably some of the first authors to have this level of involvement in an adaptation. In interviews Naren Shankar has said said that people have basically said "Are you crazy? You can't have the authors in the writer's room! It'll be a disaster!" but if I recall correctly, Ty and Daniel didn't know it was unusual to ask to be in the writer's room and on set while negotiating their contracts. Thankfully, everything I hear about how the behind-the-scenes things have gone points to a very cohesive and collaborative atmosphere. The writers and producers and cast and crew all on the same page.
I'm impressed by how excited the cast and crew are for us to see the show.

I haven't been this stoked for a sci-fi tv show in years. I'm also enjoying and am quite impressed with Sy-Fy's Dark Meter quite a bit as well, hopefully this will be as good if not better.

I really enjoyed that - a little clichéd in places but certainly a strong pilot and some really interesting world building.
