A while back, I uploaded a high-res photo of Ent-E engineering ceiling set plan. Unfortunately, it was taken at quite an angle.

I've now used photoshop's vanashing point filter on the photo to get a face on view of the set plan. Vector circles were then overlayed to make sure that the proportions were correct.

Also I've gone over the image and figured out the numbers. Normally, I just add these on top, but due to the colour of the paper, I've had to add a white rectangle behind each number to help it show up. Lengths are in blue, angles in brown, and floor to ceiling heights in green.

That's great work! The E-E sets have always been a bit elusive, so it's nice to see their secrets being revealed at last ;)

Would anyone know where I could find an image of the Star Fleet Enginery: 2189 - 2264 blueprint poster? I've been searching like crazy all over the web and I can't find anything. Out of all the Star Trek blueprints out there, this one seems nowhere to be found.

I have no clue what that is, was it something on the shows or something created by fandom?

Fandom - I have a vague recollection of this chart and may actually have a hardcopy version of it lying about deep in my ancient archives. I think it was either a Starstation Aurora or Mastercom Data Center publication - a big folded sheet/compilation set of various warp engine nacelle designs used in their various orthos.

A quick search using "Star Fleet Enginery" yields enough results to show that a single page poster of this did once exist and was published, but alas! No pictures.

Ex Astris Scientia Reused consoles research (http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/inconsistencies/reused_props_consoles.htm) points out that some octagonal console screens were reused through the original crew movies.

They were used as klingon bridge screens in ST:TMP, in main engineering in ST:II, as klingon bridge console screens of ST:III, and as wall consoles in ST:IV (using the octagonal screen walls from main engineering ST:II)

As it happens, we already have console blueprints from ST:III showing these reused screens

Just pointing this out as it could be useful for determining the dims of the other sets the console appears in

I'm amazed that those blueprints are still doing the rounds, all these years later. Wish I could justify several batches of $55 to buying them!

Just found set plans online for the large Malon freighter from Juggernaut (Voy 5x21)

The Juggernaut Malon freighter sets were a redress of sets previous used for borg interiors in Dark Frontier (VOY 5x15,16). The helm was from the USS Dauntless (VOY 4x26). [info source: Delta Quadrant - the unofficial guide to Voyager by David McIntee]

Due to the set redress, I put the blueprints in both a new Malon Flickr album and the borg album.

It is also worth noting that those sets appear to be the Borg Sets from Dark frontier redressed and or they went on to be redressed as the Borg sets.

EDIT: JK looks like it was already pointed out.

BUT also According to the unauthorized reference book Delta Quadrant (p. 294), the Varo control room was a redress of the Borg Queen's lair from "Dark Frontier", however it is most likely the other way around, as "The Disease" was produced before "Dark Frontier".

I've made a new blueprint set, this time for the Defiant Computer console (appeared in DS9 3x04 - Equilibrium)

The original prop can be seen here:

With these blueprints, I've been testing out a new workflow and blueprint format. It should hopefully speed things up a bit.

As well as posting my blueprints on Flickr, I'm going to start bundling them as pdfs for easy download and printing. Each ship gets its own bundle. Here is a test pdf of the Defiant stuff

"The Defiant Project" - are you taking on more from that little ship now? ;)

Love the package format BTW, very well laid out

Glad you like the new package format - it's taken a few tries before I finally figured it out

I plan to eventually do sets plans for the main ships (Enterprise D, Voyager, Defiant, and maybe nx), with each booklet being incremental releases.

"The Defiant project" name came about because I just labelled the wip folder as "defiant project" until I could come up with a good booklet name - in the end it just stuck. So the voyager booklet will be called "The Voyager Project" and TNG booklet will be called "The Galaxy Project".

    Latest from trekland trunk:

    Season 3-5 Defiant set + K7 station. (Perfect timing for RedGeneral's project :) )

You can tell it's 3-5 layout as the messhall has not been joined to the larger Defiant set at this time:

pity that they aren't in higher res. First time treklandtrunk hasn't uploaded high res versions. Apparently the high res versions have the set dimensions clearly written.

Don't forget that that console (along with the bunk beds DS9 constantly re-used) was originally part of the Runabout aft compartment TNG built on its budget to help out its sister series.
