Cool, I'd be glad to make you one. All the gray parts are finished, so I'll start printing the other parts in clear ABS tomorrow afternoon. I'm really curious to see how that's going to look. -Ricky
Thanks. Got it assembled for a test tonight... it works perfectly! And a sample video: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?...b.668389786609760&type=2&theater¬if_t=like What do y'all think? Who wants one? I still have to clean some of the edges up, and actually glue all the parts together, but it'll be done soon. Going to start mine now. -Ricky
What would be neat is if you could engage () two modes...one that runs the pulses down and one that's just a steady light. I like!
WOW!!! .. That's Outstanding Ricky : ) Warp Core Sound FX ? > https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=39&v=MNBA2U-L8dc
Is that helicarrier design from "skycaptain and the world of tomorrow" ? I thought the S.H.E.I.L.D. carriers looked more like Nimitz class carriers.
Nope, but it is similiar. This one was based off an early comics one, like this one: http://marvel.wikia.com/S.H.I.E.L.D..._Helicarrier_from_Strange_Tales_Vol_1_135.jpg -Ricky
Hey guys, got something neat tonight. I just finished and delivered the USS Mars, a custom 4-nacelled dreadnought that's going to be used in a tabletop game. The ship is 5.5 inches long, and came out really good for being so small, I think. The guy I made it for wants to paint it himself, so that's why these pics show it unpainted. I put the 11'' Enterprise in there, just for scale. More later, I'm almost done with the Starfox ships, and I've got 3 new models I'm about to start. -Ricky
Thanks guys. Finished another project... got the Arwing and Wolfen from Starfox 64 finished. I think they turned out great. Onward to more. Got to start on the Nautilus, now. -Ricky
