This marks the momentous return of the Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history. Production on THE X-FILES event series is set to begin in summer 2015. This is great, but I hope it gets decent ratings and they make more. I also hope they release a blu-ray box set (including the original episodes).
Everyone around me seems hyped, but my gut tells me some things are better left to rest in peace. The 2008 movie was depressingly terrible. A two-hour filler episode from hell. I hope to god they've learned from it.
