Season 2 has just been deleted unwatched from my Tivo in my latest purge. Under The Dome's gone too. The only 'Genre' shows I'm watching now are Gotham and Agents of Shield. I'd happily bin both of them too except Jr. insists on Gotham and Shield is MCU...
I bailed on Arrow half way through the first season, and haven't bothered with Flash. I'm getting older and crankier - I think I'm probably what comedians call a 'tough room' ! I must have started watching around 15 to 20 shows in the lsst few years and binned them all. About the furthest I've got was four seasons. I think the last show I didn't give up on was the reimagined Galactica.
Yeah I bailed on Arrow in the first season but came back in the 2nd. It definitely did get better. The Flash has been fairly consistently good as well. But to each their own. As far as The 100, for the most part I've been enjoying it, but there are alot of characters that bug the hell out of me, mainly Octavia.
Thinking about why I stopped watching, I can visualise it as two lines on a graph. One is falling enjoyment, the other is increasing annoyance. Both are always there, but when annoyance becomes the top line. The 100 crossed that line. P.S. Correction to my earlier statement that the last show I stuck with was nuBSG. I watched all of Warehouse 13, but I'm not sure why. And I haven't deleted the last season of Haven yet. Haven't watched it either. Good luck with The 100. I hope I don't regret bailing !
I didn't make it past the 4th or 5th ep of Arrow, but I might come back to it during a dull tv patch since people say it improves greatly. I mentally bailed at the first sight of the wise oriental man in the cave or whatever
I didn't even make it to the end of the second episode of nuBSG before getting disgusted with it. The 100, on the other hand, is one of those shows that has kept my interest in spite of the copious amounts of BBG (blood, guts, & gore, which I tend to dislike). I've even downloaded and read the first of the novels it was based on and have been considering reading the next two. The novel storylines have mostly the same characters, but there's one not in the TV show, and the first season plot had some different storyline elements.
You'll go back to Arrow when the Arrow crossovers with Flash start pissing you off. Are are you ignoring Flash too? Don't worry, you'll go back to Flash after you're addicted to Super Girl because of some old lady in the back ground being awesome. They're just going to keep inventing new shows until you submit.
Yes I am ignoring all of that ALL OF THAT. If people would just put spaceships in their shows they would get their advertising money out of me, well not really since circumvention. Timewalker how was the first book? I've been think I will read it. I just did an order with bookdepository, should have tossed that in. Post-Apocalypse is one of my favorite themes.
I found it interesting. There was a female teen character named Glass, who wasn't in the TV show, and who didn't go with the 100 down to Earth. Her story was followed on the Ark, along with the other storylines. Clarke and Wells' backstories were a bit different, too. On the ground, Clarke and Bellamy had different things happen than what was on TV. I posted some opinions about the novel in the first-season thread. The novel just makes a dent in the first season events, so I'm not sure how many volumes will be published. Overall, while it's not the best post-apocalypse story I've read, it's not bad.
Oh I see there are 3 in the series so far. And I remembered the dytopian YA I was going to read, Divergent. Saw that movie, definitely has the potential to be a better book. Ugh, I am very slow reader and get bored so quickly and already ordered some stuff..
The novel didn't take me very long to read, as it was rather short. But then I read it on Kindle, which may have a different page count than other formats.

Now that AMC has ordered The Walking Dead spin off to series I wonder how that will affect Lexa since Alycia Debnam Carey is a regular on TWD spin off. Will thekill off Lexa or could she appear in both?
The showrunner did an interview with IGN last week and he said that we won't see Lexa tomorrow night, but they are working with AMC and TWD's people to get her back next season.
Wow, what an amazing season finale tonight! I hate we'll have to wait a while to see another episode. But I am glad The CW renewed it so we'll definitely get a third season. I hope it tops this one, which won't be easy.
That was a hell of an ending. I didn't actually expect them to go that far. I was glad they did acknowledge that it wasn't necessarily a good thing. As horrible as I it was I can see why they felt it was necessary, although I have to admit I was expecting them to make peace with Mt. Weather. I do wonder now if we might see the people from Camp Jaha moving into Mt. Weather. It's just siting there empty, or at least mostly empty now, so it would make sense to use it. It would definitely offer more protection that the remains of the arc. Have we heard anything about Eliza Taylor leaving, because that last scene could almost be a final farewell? That eel thing Jaha and his group ran into was crazy. I think we can safely say that he's crossed the line into obsession with the City of Lights at this point. At this point I'm thinking that HoloJo (she was played by Erica Cerra who played Jo on Eureka) having the missile is not going to be good. I had a thought when he ran into her. What if the City of Light is a city of holograms? Holograms are made of light. So was the guy in Murphy's video talking about setting off the bombs? That was my first thought, especially since he killed himself. Is the she the hologram? I just realized, Cage is still out there wondering around in the woods. I'm guessing this probably wasn't the last we've seen of him. I was really disappointed they killed Mia, I was really hoping they would find a way to keep her around.

"City of Light" was always bullshit, just a fairy story that mother's told their children. Jaha started that trek with ten armed men and women. He's incompetant and needs to be put down. Holo Jo has been following him and tricking him into doing what she wants even if she had to make believe that the city of lights was a real objective that jaha could achieve from his perspective. It's even possible that HoloJo was the baby and Wells. The guy in the video is from 2052. Which would make the current date almost 2140 maybe, if that's when the world ended. Next season starts with a sex scene between Clarke and the Commander. (And if this was HBO, which it isn't...) Clarke Naked, walks out of bed towards a walk through trillis window and reinacts that scene from the life of brian with the help of 40 thousand grounders who don't know why they are doing what they are doing.
