Re: Donny's TOS Enterprise Interiors It might be interesting to try to integrate the TWOK and TUC versions of Spock's quarters, as Nimoy quite disliked the TWOK version and prefered what they did in TUC. He felt it was more moody and mysterious and better fit Spock's character.

Re: Donny's TOS Enterprise Interiors I figured that's what you'd say. I just rewatched TWOK yesterday, and I can definitely see Nimoy's point. The scene in Spock's quarters would play even better with some darker mood lighting. It'd give Spock more mystique. Maybe you can keep the same layout but give it more appropriate lighting.
Re: Donny's TOS Enterprise Interiors We didn't really see very much of Spock's quarters in TWOK. The best shots of the set were in The Search for Spock, in which it was very darkly lit. A few candles (Like in TUC) probably wouldn't be too out of place. Indeed, it almost looks there is one on the glass table between the two chairs, and enough of the room is unseen to leave some room for interpretation, at least in terms of set decoration.
Re: Donny's TOS Enterprise Interiors All right. I've wrapped up all the residual work on the Sickbay Complex tonight, so that I can move on to another area soon. Here are the final beauty shots of Sickbay, complete with the service corridor that connects the two ICU wards and runs behind McCoy's office and examination room. (Note that these shots are in "Letterbox" format and a smaller field-of-view, to give them a more finished, movie-like look)
