    I call those movies chick flicks. I have no problem with the term being used. I only have a problem with any movie with a female cast or even any movie that primarily targets a female audience being labelled a chick flick.

    Xena is not a chick flick. Sailor Moon is not a chick flick. Maleficient is not a chick flick. The Golden Girls is not a chick flick. My Little Pony: FiM is not a chick flick. And, no, Ghostbusters III will not be a chick flick.

    What's with the laughable topic title change? "Yes, it has WOMEN"?:lol:

    That title will only encourage people who hate the all female cast to come into this topic to say the cast is gimmicky or it will be another trashy chick flick. The title should just be "Ghostbusters reboot news" or something. The focus should be on movie news, and NOT a stupid debate about how it is full of women.

    I agree. But a certain subset of posters in this thread have decided to make the discussion about the cast featuring those evil, slutty women. So I simply gave them what they wanted.

    Impossible, we categorize everything.
    "Gross-out comedy", "Superhero movie", "documentary", "torture porn", "mindless action flick"... the word movie just doesn't give us enough information quickly when we're talking with each other.
