Hubby and I aren't exchanging presents with each other this year due to budget slashing, so I won't be getting any good stuff this year. Wishing anyway... *new living room furniture (don't laugh - the stuff we have now was my Christmas present about 18 years ago) *another DVD/Blu-Ray cabinet *fuzzy footed jammies custom-fitted for me and my feet *good pillows and bolsters for reading in bed *time with an organizer and staff to whip my house into shape *And since we're wishing - a cure for my migraines. Yep. That'd be great.
I need a new car. I would like an Aston Martin Vanquish Coupe in Midnight Blue with the ten spoke black satin wheels, ice mocha interior, and carbon fiber accents. I know I will never get it so I would be happy with a Subaru Forester in blue. I also want a full-size Tardis replica and the big beautiful NX-01 model by QmX. If I can't have any of those things (which is the truth) I would be happy with a new desk chair for my office, something with a rounded front, firmly padded seat, comfortable arm rests, and a ventilated back. (I am going to buy it for myself with my bonus check.)
I was thinking about starting a "holiday wishlist" thread the other day, but thanks to auntiehill for saving me the trouble. What I want from others: Although I don't expect anything - oh, whom am I kidding? Gift cards!!! Target, Starbucks, Peet's, Macy's, Amazon, Regal Cinema. What I want for myself: A new vacuum cleaner, a stylish raincoat, The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug: Extended Edition Blu-ray.
The means to give you all what you wished for from your lists, for Christmas. Each, in your own way, deserve it, and if I could, I would. No 'Lotto" here
If HIjol turned into Santa magically the people who answered this thread with "nothing" would be mightily pissed.
[hugs] If I had to pick something materialistic, I would like a big TV. I don't get out much, and I don't get to go see movies, so it would be nice if I could have a nice big 42" TV, turn off the lights, and sit 3 feet away as I crank up the volume on my Star Trek V: The Final Frontier DVD, and pretend I'm sitting in a theater and seeing it for the first time.
Yeah, I always check Amazon when I see something I like. It's usually cheaper and I don't have to register at yet another site. Full size on the inside?
^ I seriously covet that new Dyson stick vacuum; if I had that kind of cash to spend on a vacuum, I would totally get it and replace the crappy little vacuum I have now.
^ I would love to have a Dyson. Actually I would sell my mother for one. But I am weird and absolutely love a beautiful vacuum... and to actually vacuum.
I was looking at some photos today, and I just have to update this... What I really, really want someone to give me is a trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
Me too, but I don't have that kind of cash for a new vacuum, so I will have to make do with a new Shark sometime soon. My current vacuum is 14 years old this year and was chosen because it was the cheapest full size POS Walmart vacuum I could find.
