It's finally here a star trek bridge commander like sequel titaled flagship!!! Whatever your doing look it up now! A few features are fully explore ship and first person ship bridge battles. It's for kickstarter and in order for it to succeed they need more pledges. So please if your like me and wanted a sequel to bridge commander make a pledge to this game. It would be terrible to let this game die!

Also please spread the word if you want this to happen! They need all the support they can get if it's gonna succeed on kickstarter!

I just checked this out. It has nothing to do with Star Trek.

"Is has nothing to do with star trek" what are you talking about did you even look at it? The creators stated how bridge commander and Sci Fi shows such as star trek inspired it! "It's only a link to artimis kickstarter page" no it has nothing to do with artimis it's a whole different game look it up at flagshipgame.com/

Also maybe you misunderstood my first post the game is titled Flagship and it's currently in kickstarter and it is very much the bridge commander game youve been waiting for!

You gave no link. All you said was a sequel to Bridge Commander, which when searched on Google came up with the Artemis multiplayer bridge project on Kickstarter, and typing in flagship and Bridge Commander still didn't show me the Kickstarter page, so I had to go digging once again.

So here is the official link to the Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2049430629/flagship-space-strategy-from-a-first-person-perspe

And it's still not a sequel to Bridge Commander, neither is it Star Trek. Here is the description on the page:

It was inspired by a number of sci-fi franchises, but it's not Star Trek.

Sorry about that I will try to be more clear in further posts. But anyway the game is called flagship and despite being inspired by numerous other Sci Fi franchises star trek is a big inspiration. Also if you read on they say star trek games like bridge commander are a huge inspiration which is obvious for those who've seen the trailer.

That still doesn't make it a Bridge Commander sequel, since it is neither based on Star Trek, nor is it a continuation of the Bridge Commander series of Star Trek games. I'm not trying to nitpick, really I'm not, and I'm glad you'll be more clear in the future.

This forum does have a category for non-Trek games. It's called "Gaming".

Starting the OP with "It's finally here" is somewhat misleading as well, since it hasn't been released and it's only in Kickstarter development hell at this point.

Agreed - the title is very misleading. This is not the sequel to the Trek game. Therefore I will close the thread and advise the original poster to create a new thread in the general gaming forum, with a more meaningful title.
