Season Seven and "All Good Things..." trailers are up at TrekCore if you haven't seen them yet:

    [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRbXqqyRmGY[/yt]

And I suppose this is as good a time as any to post this. As with the previous six, if you spot any spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors let me know. Also, please note that the episode groupings per disc are just guesses on my part and will probably be changed:

*EDIT* I already know about the "Starflet" typo in PREEMPTIVE STRIKE. :)

Great trailer, might be my favourite one of the seven... EXCEPT for that little jump onto the transporter that Picard does at the end. Hilariously feeble.

Loved both trailers. I really do hope we get more special features than what has been announced so far. If they don't include all the stuff from the weekend leading up to the series finale I will be a little disappointed.

As someone that wasn't old enough to see the first airing, what aired the weekend before? They've unofficially stated (through TrekCore) that "Journey's End" would be included.

It was the Journey's End documentary and the intro and outros to the Viewers Choice Marathon hosted by Frakes.

    Journey's End is on there.

There's a three-part doc (was four-part, but things were shifted around for AGT), a Director's reunion, a load of audio commentaries, a special set tour filmed by the Okudas before the sets were struck, the SD material from the DVDs... that's it. I'm told the discs are full to bursting, apparently there's no more room.

Should have the full press release shortly.

Normally I don't pay attention to rumour, however the word around is that there is only the commentary for All Good Things and one ported over from 2008 for Parallels.

    Or is that inaccurate?

Yeah, that's wrong. The list on TVShowsonDVD is incomplete and inaccurate. It's the one sent out in a hurry to retailers in advance of the full official press release.

We'll publish the full official list on TrekCore as soon as we have it

I assume the commentary for All Good Things will be exclusive to the standalone release..?

That's right. It was an entire day of Trek. It started with the viewers choice marathon of top five episodes:

    5. "Relics"
    4. "Inner Light"
    3. "Yesterday's Enterprise"
    2. & 1. "Best of Both Worlds"

Next was the "Journey's End" special. Then "All Good Things."

I think DS9 must have already been on summer hiatus.

Holy crap, this release looks absolutely freaking stacked, and when you also factor in the additional VAM being produced exclusively for the "All Good Things..." standalone disc, this is gonna be one hell of a holiday season.

Man. Robert Meyer Burnett, Roger Lay, and CBS have really gone above and beyond the call, here.

... a little bitter-sweet because it is very likely neither DS9 and VOY will get this kind of treatment (not only the HD upgrade but also the VAMs not beeing made about the shows).

We don't know that for sure -- indeed, the fact that the CBS execs, the Okudas, and Burnett/Lay are all currently saying "no comment" on the subject means that some form of conversation appears to be happening at the moment, and that all parties involved are refusing to say anything until something definite finally gets locked down, one way or the other.

This will not happen. Robert Meyer Burnett recently posted on facebook that he has finished working on TNG and is looking for a new job now, the whole CBS-D team has most likely been disbanded by now. Saying "No comment" is easier than saying "There will be no DS9 on Blu-ray" because of the ruckus this would create.

    The answer is no.

    ...For now.

Well, that and nobody is actually saying there will be no DS9 on bluray. "We currently have no plans" means nothing more than "we currently have no plans."

They definitely wouldn't give a hard 'no' while they still have new product to release. They've told people multiple times that DS9 depended on TNG sales. There are probably people still out there buying these in the hopes of getting DS9.

They're unlikely to ever give a hard no. Studios announce things they're going to do, not things they aren't going to do.
No, they didn't. DS9 is dependent on a lot of factors. Fans showing interest in future remastering projects by buying TNG blurays is one thing fans can do, and some people like Okuda have suggested fans buy them precisely to show interest, but no one has suggested DS9 remastering depends on TNG sales. In fact, no official source has said a thing about DS9.
