"Tellarites do not argue for reasons. They simply argue." - Vulcan Ambassador Sarek, "Journey to Babel."

...The Tellarites would've LOVED the internet, huh? ;)

i would love to see more telleraties in Trek. They seem to be a cool and important species in the alpha quadrant.

Yeah, agreed. And I recall liking what ENT did with them. (I haven't watched that show in ages, though, so I'm just going off of vague memories here).

Oh which there is no validated proof that humans are affected by them.

The Andorians only appeared in three Trek episodes and the Tellerites in two but both times with Andorians! Do either race return in TNG, DS9 or VOY? I can't say I remember one way or another to be honest!

Cool - I am still waiting for the validated proof that Orion slave girls exist.

Andorians x 4 episodes: "Journey to Babel", "Gamesters of Triskelion", "Whom Gods Destroy", two corpses in "The Lights of Zetar".

Tellarites x 3 episodes: "Journey to Babel", "Whom Gods Destroy", two corpses in "The Lights of Zetar".

Andorians in TAS ("Yesteryear", "The Time Trap"), TMP, ST IV, "Captain's Holiday" (and "The Offspring") in TNG, and Picard. Tellarites in TAS ("The Time Trap"), ST IV (wearing TMP Kazarite robes).

And both species in ENT and DSC.

Yeah, I'm mixed on ENT overall, but they did a pretty great job with the Andorians and the Tellarites.

I forgot about the corpses in Memory Alpha but can't say I recall a Tellarite? As for ENT and DSC I don't include them as this reality to be honest!

If anyone here is familiar David A. Goodman's book The Autobiography of James T. Kirk, there's a fun scene in Chapter One where an 11-year-old Jim Kirk rescues a Tellarite from a crashed shuttle, and the Tellarite argues with Kirk while he's being rescued. :rommie:

With Enterprise's spin on Tellarates, Sarek's line is actually him showing respect for their culture.

I think the Tellarites are fine just the way they are, and I think Enterprise should have had more of them.

The Andorians were great in the Babel episode of TOS. They looked cool and had this Zorro quality to them. On Enterprise, they still looked cool, but had no Zorro quality to them at all. I'm not a fan of Enterprise Andorians.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "Zorro quality."
