Disney+ is coming a week early to western Europe, now due March 24 instead of March 31.
    https://deadline.com/2020/01/disney...-launch-date-changed-pricing-cost-1202836570/

£5.99/€6.99 per month, or £59.99/€69.99 for an annual subscription.

That March 24 date is valid for: UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland.

The article also says: Belgium, the Nordics, and Portugal, will follow in summer 2020.

Oh yeah I just remembered, I found out a couple weeks ago why they only have Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer on Disney+, the first one is on Hulu.
While on the topic of the F4, I've been meaning to ask, are either of the animated F4 series on there worth watching? They have the '90s series and Earth's Greatest Heroes.

If you've already watched all the other Marvel cartoons, then I guess go ahead. If there are some that you haven't watched, feel free to watch those other ones before the FF ones though (other than, of course, Avengers United They Stand).

Obviously, don't expect to be blown away. The FF have had numerous attempts at animated shows over the years, and none of them have come remotely close to the likes of Earths Mightiest Heroes or Wolverine and the X-Men or Spectacular Spider-Man. Though I will give Fantastic Four Worlds Greatest Heroes some credit. It's probably the best of the lot, and they try to do some new FF stories that we haven't seen before.

The second half of the 90s series is pretty good. The first half covers some big FF moments (like the first appearance of Galactus and Silver Surfer), but its tone is really obnoxiously "comedy", even including a wacky landlady with a dog that always gets in the way of stories. At episode 14 (aka Season 2) the entire tone shifts to more of an adventure/action thing like the comics (the same thing happened with the 90s Iron man cartoon, half way through it gets more "serious" and gets an animation improvement). This second half covers some Inhumans stuff, a cool episode with Daredevil, and another big Galactus thing.

The other FF cartoon is ok. It has better animation, but its anime inspired design is not great in my opinion, and it doesn't adapt or tell stories as well as the second half of the 90s series. It does have a pretty decent episode with She-Hulk though, and its not a bad cartoon, just not very memorable in my opinion.

Oh, the wacky landlady and her dog! It's not Martin and Wendy bad, but it's bad.

It's a fantastic deal, no matter the exact price.

The most interesting point from that data analysis a few weeks ago was that Disney+ had a longer average viewing session than the other streaming services. When people turn it on, they actually sit down and watch a full old Disney (or Marvel or whatever) movie.

Now, since the new Clone Wars trailer was already posted over on the Star Wars board, here's a different brand new trailer for something that's going to run significantly shorter than those average viewing sessions mentioned above:

    Marvel's Hero Project – Episode 117
One Day At Disney (Short) Episode 113
Disney Family Sundays (Episode 117) ???

Honestly that last week or so is just a guess. Marvel's Hero Project is supposed to have 20 episodes, so I assume they'll just keep airing straight through. Diary of a Future President is supposed to have 10 episodes, so that'll take it most of the way through March. And I have no clue if Disney Family Sundays is something that could just go on indefinitely or if it will stop. I can't imagine that Shop Class would be a replacement for it, as that seems a lot more, uhm, advanced or produced or something. If you haven't heard, Shop Class is a competition show hosted by Justin Long with teams of students building stuff and being judged on it.

Bold stuff is just stuff I figured was worth highlighting.

Looking further ahead into March, Stargirl airs on March 13, and it looks like both Diary of a Future President and Marvels Hero Project will end their runs on March 20. So presumably a new show will start up so Clone Wars isn't airing all by its lonesome. The highlights of movies joining the service in March are A Wrinkle In Time and a tiny little movie called Black Panther.

I was just looking around at the My Stuff section of Hulu, and the first Fantastic Four has been moved to expiring, so I wouldn't be surprised if it pops up on Disney+ once it's gone from Hulu.
Have we gotten any word, rumor or official, on if/when we can expect the X-Men movies to show up? I've been wanting to rewatch Days of Future Past and Apocalypse and the second 2 Wolverine movies, and watch Dark Phoenix for the first time.

I'm actually considering it for this price. I currently pay 11 Euro a month for Netflix and have access to Amazon Prime Video which is bundled with their general Prime membership which i have.

However time to watch stuff is actually an issue.. Netflix has more than enough content that i will never be able to watch all that interests me and adding another streaming service seems unnecessary (even though i'm a huge Disney animated movie fan).

I just edited post #771 above, as I found out they're debuting a new season of a series on Feb 14. I won't even bother mentioning it here, because I'm going to guess that it won't appeal to anyone on this board, but if you really have to know, it shouldn't be too hard to see what's debuting on Valentine's Day.

Marvel announced their schedule for C2E2 this year (a Chicago comic convention):
    https://www.marvel.com/articles/culture-lifestyle/c2e2-2020-schedule-panels

They're promoting the world premiere of Marvel's Storyboards on Sat Feb 29---

"Marvel’s Storyboards follows Joe Quesada, Marvel's EVP, Creative Director, as he explores the origin stories and inspirations of storytellers of all mediums, backgrounds, and experiences at their favorite spots throughout New York City and beyond. Be the first to see Marvel’s Storyboards at this world premiere screening with Joe Quesada as he discusses his long career of storytelling and the genesis of the series. Plus a Q&A you won’t want to miss! Marvel’s Storyboards will stream exclusively on Disney+ this year."

Here's the announcement article from Marvel last year, listing some of the people Joe would be featuring on the show:
    https://www.marvel.com/articles/tv-shows/marvels-storyboards-heading-to-disney

12 episodes, 10-15 minutes in length, no word on a premiere date yet.
But it sure would make a good replacement for when Hero Project ends, right?

Lol, all I had to do was wait one day, I was too impatient. This morning Disney sent out an updated list of everything coming to Disney+ over the next month. A few surprises that we didn't know about before are being added to the library, probably the highlights of which are Splash and Descendants 3 (which is not a personal highlight, but I know some kids for whom it is). Also of note: The Sandlot is coming back. Season 2 of Star Wars Resistance is being added pretty quick. The biggest surprise is probably Future Avengers, which I believe is the first example of one of the many Japanese Marvel shows being added to the service. Not sure how many others will follow, as many aren't appropriate, but at the very least the second season of Future Avengers should show up sometime later this year.

Most websites have just posted a calendar of what's coming, but the following website posted all the detailed episode descriptions too, so feel free to check it out:

Today marks the 11th week since I've had Disney + because it's the end of season 1 of Jeff Goldblum (With season 2 on the way). I have to say while I enjoyed some topics over others, I did enjoy watching the show each week. As for the service, I've been liking it, but I think the honeymoon period is wearing off. For example, I was watching Darkwing Duck and I think it's been over a month since I've seen another episode. That series might be turning into a series where I want to remember the good times when I was a kid but as an adult, it's not really for me. I've still liked the episodes though but I'm not really rushing to finish the series. Maybe I might watch a few this weekend. They are only 22 minutes long.

I'm looking forward to the Marvel shows I think most of all. I keep saying I'm starting to get all super-heroed out, but Marvel is such a well oiled machine, it's like a drug that keeps pulling you in. I guess also I just miss the excitement of having a new episode of a series that the entire world was watching and being quite happy about. I think it's started up again with Picard, but I think Mandalorian has more of a sway than Picard does, not to mention Disney + is so much better than CBS All Access.

I figured I'd be watching a lot of vault movies since they used to be so hard to get but I've only watched a few of the shorts. There is just too much new stuff to watch on other services. D+ didn't quite end up as exciting for me to have as I thought it would.

£4.99 if you pay for a year in advance...
