Proposed Pandrilite

As we all know, Michael Jan Friedman introduced two particularly notable Federation member species that have since appeared semi-frequently in the wider novel 'verse: the Gnalish and the Pandrilites. We know what Gnalish look like (well, one of their three races) because it's accepted that Sord from "The Jihad" is Gnalish. But what of the Pandrilites? We know that they are big, bulky, bald and blue. I thereby propose that this individual, imprisoned on Rura Penthe in 2293, is a Pandrilite.

I like it. I wish TPTB would provide background info like this for things.

Those who do not know are hardly worth speaking of, are they? :p

I thought I had a memory of MJF saying that a Pandrilite looked rather 'like Dr Manhattan of "Watchmen"'.

Don't the Pandrilites have tusks? Or am I thinking of some other MJF alien?

That's the Vobilities, one of MJF's lesser go-to Federation members. They also have red mottled skin and sparse black hair. Unlike Pandrilites and Gnalish, they haven't graduated to non-MJF works.
