Post a DIFFICULT Star Trek trivia question

Kirk picks up a Saurian brandy bottle and starts to pour but doesn't, and doesn't drink any when he first comes to meet Samuel Cogley in "Court Martial". (don't know if anyone referenced this episode and the Saurian brandy bottle before??)

The devil in the dark contains a number of extremely rare occurrences two of them I believe only happen in this episode and in no other episode of the series. One of them only occurs in this episode as far as the first season is concerned.
What are these rare occurrences?

 

Well, one of them is that the teaser does not depict or involve the crew. Unique as far as I know.

Was TOS full-scale shuttlecraft prop helpful for enhancing the believability of the future "world" of Enterprise and Starfleet?

Only appearing in several episodes, it should have been used in many more episodes since it was built.

In the difficult questions for devil in the dark -- 1 remaining is unique in the entire series. The other I've found is also in common with two other first season episodes.

 

Hm - only depiction of a security chief?

 

"Tomorrow is Yesterday"? Shows the ship but no crew.

 

That wasn't what I was referring to. But Sulu was security chief of Mirror Entrrprise!

KIRK: Mister Spock. I want you to assist Scotty in maintaining that makeshift circulating pump.
SPOCK: I, I beg your pardon, sir?
KIRK: You heard me.

 

Ah, yes, of course! I should have said, does not show the Enterprise or the crew.

 

Scotty has to repair something that is not aboard the Enterprise or a sister ship.

 

All good guesses and interesting observations but not exactly what I was looking for. The one is so obvious that you all know it but it just hasn't hit you in the face. And the other is kind of odd. I'll give a hint on the other one
Devil in the dark is tied with where no man has gone before and what are little girls made of as far as being unique to the first season.

Right it's the only episode where there are no female speaking parts.
Is that a fact that's the only time phaser one and Phaser two were mentioned by their names?

 

In "Obsession" Kirk orders security men "armed with phaser two."
