Alas this object has no stun setting!

    Clue # 10
Me and my subsequent replicas, are only on board ship.

    Not correct - however:

    Clue # 11
The episode is indeed "Where No Man Has Gone Before".

Well, it can't be the cup with the logo on it (that no other cup in the series has) that Mitchell (the guest star) uses to drink water (and not coffee) from, after TKing it full from the 20th century spigot, because Kirk (not a guest star) catches it in the end.

Given your perfect summing up, and my human error of forgetting about Kirk, I believe you fully well know that the coffee cup is the correct answer ;)

Apologies to all, for the confusion regarding Kirk touching it. Not having seen the episode for a while, I had forgotten that moment. I'm no Vulcan alas!

    The game is yours Sir!

You know, I could have just guessed back on Jan 7 when I asked you specifically if Clue # 4 was correct and you said that it was.
I find that trekcore.com is useful in that regard
A clue will be up later....

Clue 1: This object is delectable to one (as are those objects like it).

Edit to add the bolded word for clarity.

Salt or salt tablets, Nancy monster loved them, as most "spices" are liked.
Can give you high blood pressure if you eat too much, and gives Kirk a "bellyache"??

Tsk, it's a mystery that gives Kirk a bellyache and the mystery of this object remains.

    -----------------
Clue 3: Given what is learned about this object (and others like it), the first interaction with this object could have been much, much worse.

The explosive rocks on Gamma Trianguli Six?
    1. It looks like a rock.
SPOCK: Interesting. Extremely low specific gravity, some uraninite, hornblende, quartz. (breaks it in half) Fragile, good cleavage. An analysis should prove interesting.
    2. Like poor Mallory (boom!)
    3. Spock breaks it. Lucky it didn't explode in their faces.

@Henoch Yes, it is the explosive rock.
Clue 1: Vaal's people feed the rocks to Vaal.
Clue 2: As you say, BOOM! if you step wrong (or just toss it.)
Clue 3: But snapping it in half? No problem. One might call that Plot Luck (tm).

Bad news: The game is yours. :guffaw:

Interesting! I would think if one used the word "one" in their clue they would have meant a living being/entity and Vaal was a machine. Plus that exact object (the explosive rocks) was the subject of this topic in a December game! But a nice game anyway.

The clue may have waxed a bit poetic perhaps but I think Vaal demonstrates enough agency for 'one.' YMMV.
mea culpa: I should have checked the thread closer.
