^ I found Beltran a good actor, and Chakotay an interesting Character, when the writers gave him something to do.

Chakotay wasn't dull, Beltran played him as calm. Failure to chew the scenery isn't a negative.

I mean, when the Trek fanbase have been making "wooden", "Chuckles" and "acoochimoya" jokes for two-and-a-half damn decades, I really don't know what more to say.

Maybe he did. Maybe that would explain everything.

Seriously folks, I don't have much issue with Chuckles. He's a little boring, but otherwise OK.

How sad that he's the only Star Trek character to have funny names and observations attached to him.

If someone likes Chakotay, that's totally fine. Just keep him away from Picard.

I guarantee you that the makers of Star Trek: Picard are not going to use their show to try to redeem characters from Trek's nadir period. Can't imagine that's what PatStew had in mind when he signed on.

It wouldn't be my first choice but if there is an interesting story to tell why not?

Any Voyager character appearance would be great for Seven. We got that with Picard, Hugh and the Rikers so it would be great to see Seven meet an old friend and then they can react to how she's changed.

As an avid C7 shipper (yes, we exist) I can handle the relationship canonically ending, but I need SOME kind of closure, even if it's just an offhand comment by Seven. Whether he left her for Janeway, or died, or they just decided they didn't do it for each other, I don't even need details. Just some hint of what happened.

I would very much like if the show confirmed that Chakotay had something to do with Seven becoming a Ranger, though. Most everyone important in Seven's life was a rebel of some sort, so it's not a surprise she wound up as one too. But I still want to think that the Maquis captain specifically played some role in her career decision.

I'm also dying to see a grown Miral Paris show up. This being 20 years after "Voyager," she'd be about the age she was in the alternate future scenes of "Endgame." Seeing her verbally spar with Admiral F-Bomb Clancy would be a very special treat!

Rebels? Naah...by the time Seven came on board, the Maquis had long become obedient Starfleet officers.

And the Voyager crew did not teach Seven to be a rebel. As long as Seven was on Voyager, she was under consistent pressure to conform to what they believed a human should be - that's the opposite of rebelling. Seven did not become a rebel until she got away from them.

You know what, though? If Chakotay did appear on Picard, I can totally see him creeping on Soji Asha. That sixty-three year age gap would be irresistible to him. And then Seven and Raffi could step in and escort her safely away. I would love to see a scene in which Seven explains to Soji that the galaxy is full of manipulative older men who want to groom young women into being compliant and submissive pieces of meat. Let Soji benefit from Seven's wisdom!

In "Flashback" (set during the events of ST VI), Tuvok is a recent Academy graduate. Some time after that, he did leave Starfleet - to undergo the kolinahr discipline.

His attempt at kolinahr failed when he underwent pon farr and married T'Pel. So after that he rejoined Starfleet. (I don't know exactly how long he was away.)

I’d actually quite like to see Naomi Wildman back for an episode. I quite liked how she brought out the more human side of Seven in Voyager and a discussion between the two about Icheb could be interesting.

I would much much much prefer some Ds9 cameos.

Worf and O'Brien would be my choice because they both have connections with Picard.

The Doctor gave Seven an instruction manual on how to date!

Way to bring out her half-Klingon side!
