I've been very happy with D+, The Mandalorian was great, it finally gave me a chance to finish up Star Wars: Rebels, and I've begun working my way through a lot of the old movies and shows I haven't seen since I was a kid.

Just saw an update for what's coming to the Australian version of Disney+ in February:
    https://streambly.com.au/news/20200124-disney-plus-australia-whats-new-february-2020-1405

They're definitely getting some different library content, stuff like Mrs Doubtfire, Cheaper By The Dozen, Percy Jackson, The Peanuts Movie, and Runaways season 1.

Notably though, they have a new D+ original listed for February 7:
Pixar In Real Life - Ep 104 "Toy Story: Traffic Cone Rescue"

All the other Disney+ originals seem to be the same as the list sent out Thursday that I posted on the previous page. I'll assume that's coming to the US version too, and it was just overlooked on the list Disney sent out.

No clue how that library content compares to New Zealand, Canada, or Netherlands. As for the folks in Germany, UK, etc, your guess is as good as mine as to what your library content is going to look like. (Though I heard that the library for the UK version could be noticeably smaller due to Sky holding on to some contracts.)

I hope we get The Peanuts Movie in the US eventually, I didn't see it in theaters, and I didn't get a chance to rent it before I had to cut back on my entertainment money.

Brace yourselves! This guy just dumped a huge list of all the original projects Disney+ has planned for the rest of its launch year (which would basically be the next 3 quarters). The guy who runs the website points out that he hasn't even heard of some of these before, so I'm a little surprised the info has been allowed to stay up.

    https://whatsondisneyplus.com/exclusive-disney-year-one-content-roll-out-plan-revealed/

This list is obviously unofficial, and with no specific dates, is certainly still subject to change. And like I just pointed out above two posts above, there's apparently a Pixar In Real Life short coming that wasn't on Disney's February press release, and a number of sites have said they expect 101 Dalmatian Street to be added in February too, which also wasn't on the list Disney sent out a few days ago. So this is definitely subject to change.

That said, it's also a huge amount of stuff.

-They've got their big Maleficent, Frozen, Star Wars, and Onward movies on that list. A little strange to see Onward there already, with it not due to hit theaters for a while still. But I guess that fits with some of the quick turnarounds we've already seen on Disney+.

-The Mighty Ducks show, which was scheduled to film February-June, is supposed to be out as soon as this summer!

-This seems to confirm some people's guess that the order of the big budget shows for later this year would be:
    1. Falcon and Winter Soldier
    2. Mandalorian Season 2
    3. WandaVision
Obviously it's all subject to change, but for now this seems to be their plan.

-Looks like I was right about my guess of Marvel's Storyboards premiering sooner rather than later. Note also that the Marvel 616 show is scheduled for the following quarter. If they time it perfectly, and start Storyboards the week after Hero Project ends, and then start 616 right after Storyboards ends, and then follow that up with Falcon and Winter Soldier, they could have some sort of brand new Marvel-branded content every single week since launch up until the end of Falcon and Winter Soldier. That would be an impressive streak.

-It might not mean anything, but the fact that The Mandalorian is listed while Jeff Goldblum and High School Musical aren't could mean that its second season will debut before those other two. Though it could also mean they just haven't set in stone when the other two are coming back. Though the fact that The Mandalorian started filming its second season long before the other two obviously gave it a big head start.

No matter which way you slice it, that's a huge list of new content. New movies, new tv shows, new shorts, new documentaries, new kids competition stuff, new behind the scenes stuff, new everything. And that's just all the new original stuff. Add in all the older titles that will be added to the library over the next few months, and there will be no shortage of new programming on Disney+.

Decided to take my advice and watch a few episodes of Darkwing tonight. This is really a crazy show. A lot of it is stupid, but it is elementary/middle school humor. I am laughing a few times though.

I'm up to episode 7 (counting the pilot as 5), the last one I watched was the on where Demona tricked Brooklyn into getting her the spell book. I had been focusing on finishing up Star Wars; Rebels, so now that that's done I'll be watching it more regularly.
I watched Sound of Music for the first time ever this morning, and I really enjoyed it. I looked it up on Wikipedia while I was taking a break, and I was surprised to see how many sci-fi connections it had.
Rober Wise (director) also directed Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Christopher Plummer (Capt. von Trap) played General Chang in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Nicholas Hammond (Friderich Von Trap) played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the '70s live action TV series
Heather Menzies (Louisa von Trap) played Jessica 6 in the Logan's Run TV series
Angela Cartwright (Louisa von Trap) played Penny Robinson in the original Lost in Space.

The Quest is one of the only reality competition shows I actually stuck with, and it was actually a lot of fun.

Disney+ has posted a video showing all the content coming in February:

As usual, some more content has been added to the previously announced schedule. As expected, the new Pixar In Real Life short will show up the first Friday of the month. More notably, two Fox movies are being added to the service, Cheaper By the Dozen and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. It's entirely reasonable to expect the sequels to both films to show up at some later point in the year.

Some content is missing too. All 3 seasons of Imagination Movers were supposed to be added. Perhaps simply an oversight in that video, or perhaps that plan has changed. And some folks were expecting 101 Dalmatian Street too this month, but that's also not there. It was never scheduled or announced by Disney+ for February, so it's not really missing, but a lot of folks were expecting it to make its US debut this month thanks to posts on social media. It's a brand new show made in the UK in 2019, and has aired on many international Disney channels over the past year, but was supposedly being saved for Disney+ in the US and Canada. We'll see.

I would say that last night's Disney+ commercial during the Super Bowl was super effective. It's picked up millions of views on youtube, twitter, and facebook, and I saw numerous Marvel characters still trending on twitter when I looked long after the game last night.

So far, I'd say the service seems to be doing a good job of balancing the library titles (that will keep people watching for hours on end) with the super flashy big money titles (that will get everyone's attention) like we saw in that commercial last night.

Really liked that teaser. I’m still really looking forward to Wandavision (are they going with an I love Lucy approach?) but the other two look good too. I’m glad we will get two of them this year.

I love Lilo & Stitch, so I'm fine with a live action version.

I’m thinking something like Sonic the Hedgehog for Stitch. Hopefully it’s better than the first attempt at Sonic though.

Lilo and Stitch was a fun movie. Considering I’m leaving Hawaii today maybe I should rewatch it soon.

I could easily see Auli'i Cravalho, the actress who voiced Moana, and was Ariel for the Little Mermaid Live show they did last year, as a live action Nani.

Though Toy Story 4 is definitely worth watching. I'll probably watch it again some day. Some year.
