    Hello,

So a couple of weeks ago I made a reboot version of my current Enterprise version... but I wasn't satisfied with it, and so ended up using it to improve my general design instead.

Then I rewatched Beyond again and decided that, in addition to changing my mind about the movie for the better, had they not messed with the proportions of the ship, the swept back pylons and smaller nacelles would have been fine. I didn't know how to put that into an actual design, however, without starting from scratch. And so I did that.

After about 45 hours of work (my biggest project yet), here's the result: a Belz-ified version of the reboot Enterprise that's just about the same size as the real thing, and integrates some elements of the Beyond refit as well as some of the Beyond 1701-A, in addition to my own personal touches, of course.

Great work, but I'm just not a fan of the nacelles being so far back, it totally threw the balance of the ship off in Beyond.

I think that's because they stretched the neck as well, making the pylons too tall and thin.

I think the swept back, with these proportions, would improve on the 2009 model.

Ture, though IMO the main problem is the place where the nacelles connect to the pylons being so close to the Bussards. If you compare the Beyond version with all the other Constitutions, the nacelles end up just too far back from the saucer. On the TMP design, for example, the swep back pylons connect to the nacelles closer to their middle point, and the ship looks a lot more balanced as a result of this.

Anyway, this is just my personal take on it, your work on this looks great! :)

Can I just say I love the little Kirk in the cut-away kicking the warp core into submission?

I was hoping someone would notice that.

What happened was, usually I put one of those figures in the shuttlebay, another on the bridge, and a third in the engine room, but when I made my first reboot version I forgot the latter. When it dawned on me, I wasn't sure where to put it, mused about putting it in the core itself, and then thought it would be funny to plonk Kirk in there.

It's been a while for this one; I've made a good update on the cutaway view, updating it with elements of my newer designs, and minor adjustments to other views.

All in the opening post, per usual.

A fun experiment today. I've stretched the neck and pylons in a way similar to what was done in Beyond, just to see how the proportions would work out. I'm starting to see the appeal of the alterations here, even though they were unnecessary in more ways than one (why create a new CGI model if you're going to destroy the ship before the second act?). I also widened the impulse deck and made it more similar to that version.

Not sure I'll do the other views for now.

Well, count me in as wanting to see the other views, if you’d ever consider doing these.

I love the Beyond Refit, so am interested to see your take on this version!

Been a while for this one. I've updated a number of things in the OP, in order to try to maintain these images' status in Google search. I'll include the original in a link to a tweet below.

I altered mainly the impulse deck, but also adjusted a number of details, including using the larger positional lights from my recent Phase 2 design. I also removed some of the saucer's phasers so as to make it less cluttered, added some detail to the cutaway view, and so on.

    Here's the previous version:
