That works quite well as a fluid integration of Earth and Vulcan tech. At least, from this angle. What does the side look like? Really digging the vibe!
Interesting! Almost as if the Enterprise-D and the Orville had a baby. Do you actually freehand these? Your pen-and-ink technique is superb.
Extraordinary! Are those shuttlebays on the front of the saucer? With a name like Photon Class, I initially processed the Bussard Collector as an extra-large torpedo assembly. Really inspiring work, Atolm!
Thanks! Thanks. This is a rough side view I drew up in paint... lol...Thanks. I do everything pen and ink freehand, and a straight edge. thank you bro. No those are not the shuttlebays, but rather another deflector assembly (dunno what for, maybe slipstream?). I put the Bussard there as it could give hydrogen directly to main engineering.
That is super intimidating looking. I don't what it is, if it's the shape, the more squat design or what but it looks like a beast.
What a fantastic concept! Very new and still in line with what I'd expect from the Trek universe. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, and I dunno, as I generally do not think of ships as "looking" mean, or anything else for that matter...lol Thanks! That is what I strive for
I'd like to see a more Orville version of that, smaller saucer just a tad forward of the deflector--raised secondary hull coming out and back (all by itself)--and the huge loop even larger--farther back and up....
I love it but there's something about it that makes me think of the craniums of the flat-headed aliens in the movie Independence Day.
