    Finally got a good rain shower today. Woo-hoo! We don't usually go very long without rain, here in the swamp, but this summer has been a real scorcher. Just having a brief shower brought the temperatures down considerably.

    I was going to say, "Hotter than blue blazes" , but then I thought, why not red blazes? Doesn't red blazes sound hotter than blue blazes? Anyway, it's hot.
