It’s still morning here and I’m still in bed, eating leftover sweets from yesterday. Not the most nutritious or healthy start of the day but it’s nice.
I’m at the local leisure centre, 8:35 am, with a vending machine coffee in hand, occasionally looking up from my phone to see how the kids are doing in the pool.
Resisting the urge to bash my head against the wall. I'll just have a few drinks which will achieve the same end result (and be much easier on the wall).
I'm sitting with one leg resting on my desk, drinking my afternoon cup of coffee, bored but not discontent.
Checking out local politics (state election here y'day, not my state but the conservatives were thrashed, so I'm having what Scots call "a wee gloat".) Contemplating making coffee. Listening on headphones to a playlist made up of everything from 60s rock to 2010s pop. My tastes are mixed. Going back to my writing project soon.
Watching the final episode of Discovery as I look at some fallout from the state election last night.
Sat in the car, in a car park, listening to two small children insult each other, while waiting for the wife to return with food.
just took a shower, waiting for my friend to call me back so I can go help them clean mold off their worldly belongings.
