Thanks for the replys, sorry its so late. I do not get a lot of replys so I do not come here too much.

Some TOS Movie Graphics, I am working on some more based on some seen in the movies with the Enterprise-C on them.

    I like yours a bit more. :D

I like that you've kept the traditional framing and proportions of the workstations (which I believe Jefferies nailed) while adopting a smooth, touchscreen style and muted graphics. Very, very nice!!

Simplistic and practical... and overall, aesthetically pleasing and a fitting pre-TOS scheme, suitably updated. I like it a lot! :D

The one thing I might suggest is a greater sense of connectivity between the upper and lower screens. This might be as simple as a 'circuit' type pattern, slightly darker than the background color, running across each.

But that's just my taste, otherwise, quite awesome! ;)

JoeRalat, I am glad to see you are still doing your own TOS reboot graphics; I loved the initial set you did a while ago. These would look perfect on the bridge of Vektor's nuEnt!

Thanks for the nice replys, it means a lot.

Here is a very small update. I add more color to the background of the top graphic and a new more "3D" Border to the area around the top graphic.
I am now working on the station controls.

JoeRalat, you do some pretty sweet work. :)

One thing that always bugged me about the canonical MSDs is that they only showed one nacelle. I always felt the port nacelle should appear above or below the starboard one (depending on whichever fits better on the display without obscuring other parts of the ship), so if both were damaged, the relevant parts could light up on both. Something to think about, maybe.

Would love to have deck plans of one of those suckers! Unfortunately, I tend to think a project of such scope would take at least a decade, even for people willing to put in 80-hour work weeks.

I loved the arrival/departure sequences of ships at Spacedock, but always thought Spacedock itself was way too big to be realistic, considering how small Starfleet seemed to be prior to the model's appearance in Star Trek III.

For myself...I didn't have quite so much trouble accepting the idea of such stations. I suppose I can blame it on George Lucas and Ralph McQuarrie to some extent, if you'll forgive that invocation. This design was more pragmatic in scale, scope and function, however.

There's more I want to say of this station design, but it's going to take a while to get my thinking together...

How about a warp field geometry Okudagram for the Constitution or Excelsior classes?

And your work looks sharp. :)

Very nice! Are all those copies of on-screen graphics or are any home-grown? It would be cool to see an animated version of some of those!

This Starbase cut-out is really quite sexy :P

It's going to take me some time to catch up with this long thread, but I bet the rest is just as good as this. I adore LCARS ;);)
