"What was the maximum number of crew members
on the bridge at one time and in what episode?"

12 is incorrect and the episodes you list were also incorrect

From the way you phrased it it's Enterprise crew members only and not civilians or members of other groups or entities?

Well I hope that making multiple guesses is not against the rules. I just realized that in where no man has gone before you had a full Bridge complement Plus dr. Piper dr. Dehner Scotty and Sulu Plus Yeoman Smith. I'm not sure exactly how many actual seats there are on the bridge. I'm guessing there are seven seats around the perimeter and then the three in the middle so that's 10 and the five standing crew members 15

Enterprise crew members, in uniform, not all visible in the same single frame but visible in the scene, and 15 is incorrect and no, not Where No Man Has Gone Before

Wow after I posted my guess I went and looked up the bridge diagram and there are 11 seeded stations plus the fact that there were I believe 5 freestanding crew members in the scene. That's actually 16 so I'm stunned that there's an episode with more than 16 crew members on the bridge! Another wild guess would be when the crew returns from Troy Lanes parlor and the bridge is already filled with a full staff and then the members of The Landing party pile onto the bridge. But I'm not exactly sure how many that would total Perhaps it is more than 16.
Well that's going to be my next guest Squire of gothos with 17 crew members on the bridge

Ok had to review Squire of Gothos, I think total in Squire was 14 seen in one scene (maybe more at a station but not seen on screen?), then they lost Sulu and Kirk, vanished, then 1 left bridge and Scotty came on, another crew member was seen so then 13 maybe then. Very busy scene, but still 17 is not the number nor is Squire the episode!

Wow! I could keep guessing but that's all it would be guessing and not any kind of an informed knowledge.

Here is WNMHGB, you can't assume since there is a station that someone is there if they are not seen, as seen in the empty chair up front under the CONDITION ALERT and I don't think you see anyone further fowards than Spock #12 (he should have been labled #1) and NO this is not the correct number nor episode!

Okay I've got another one. I mean or any of this completely sure of our facts unless we review every episode?
So if I'm wrong on any of these questions you I hope you'll forgive me.

    The question is...
What episode has the longest amount of time without any of the main characters shown on screen?

The one I believe has the record is 5 minutes and 22 seconds. Can you guess the episode and the scene?

By the way I'm not counting the credits as part of the time involved in case any of your guesses have credits before after the scene in question.

@Grant My #'s on the bridge and it's episode is still active, the 12 was not the correct answer (I just edited the above post)

and I'm thinking about your new question

I found an episode with 13 but seems to me that you're looking for a higher number than that.
Oh I see that you wrote 14 possibly in Squire so you are you're already above 13 God I just can't imagine many more than that on the bridge at one time.
I'm thinking it's an episode where the bridge was full already and then they called security onto the bridge

Wow! Awesome guess. I had to measure.
The scene you mention is 5:17 -- 5 seconds less than the scene I am talking about.

long scene question...thought of another but too short at about 4:33, The Apple, after Chekov's kiss, Starsky and Hutch's it is not a dance, it does not gather food, it does not serve Vaal etc speech, then ends up to when Akuta shows how to bash in heads....

Vaal has ordered it it will be done!

Actually a disclaimer about the long scene I of course wasn't thinking about the cage pilot and technically if the cage have been picked up Pike would have been a regular so he wouldn't really be considered a guest star in the cage. In any event not referring to any footage from the cage.

I would have guessed at Devil in The Dark for longest moments without the regular crew in the teaser!
