If it helps, this song has more or less been my emotional touchstone during the development and writing process:

So they're specifically called "Star Trek: Coda" and not "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in this post... so looking cross-over and not necessarily TNG-specific? Excellent.

It might be region-locked. It plays fine for me.

Black hole, huh? A few things that could mean come to mind; Red Matter, the return of the Body Electric, or, simply, awesome (in the Biblical sense of making you fall to the ground, covering your ears and eyes while weeping in terror) space stuff.

Spoiler: It's actually a 3 book adaptation of that Voyager episode where Janeway has a near death experience.

I'm so excited for this. At least it appears the trek books get to tie things up in this particular canon, unlike what disney did to the star wars old EU. This got me so excited to get back to the litverse. Knowing we will get a sense of closure to this era of trek storytelling.

Thank you for all your hard work on this project @David Mack, @Dayton Ward, and @James Swallow. We all believe you’re going to deliver something amazing, and are appreciative for giving the Litverse a proper send off.

I know next to nothing about Rush, but the page on their website offers this commentary on the song David linked to above:

“Now we must tend our garden.”

And the first few lines of the lyrics:

In this one of many possible worlds
All for the best, or some bizarre test?
It is what it is – and whatever
Time is still the infinite jest

Hey, we got a good twenty years of these various ongoing storylines. That’s a pretty good run, even longer than the run of the series that originated them all.

Don’t cry cuz it’s (going to be) over. Smile cuz it happened.

I would love an updated version of The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart (that would make it.. Mark VII?), with the Coda Trilogy.. providing the total view of the TrekLitverse (2001-2021)

It’d be really nifty if Coda came with a timeline of things from Avatar on, make at least a sketching of the course of events being wrapped up.

Not necessarily needed, but definitely would be a nice touch.

@Dayton Ward A conversation on the psiphi boards ages ago led to the formation of the Star Trek Timeliners and the multiple times the Pocket Books Timeline was published. Maybe this conversation could be a repeat! You know how to reach out to us!
