Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

the Scimitar was able to knock the USS Enterprise-E out of warp with one hit. A powerful enough shot in the right area can cause a LOT of bleed through damage. You might not see the bleed through damage on the Bridge or OPS but that doesn't mean the damage isn't being caused to other areas of...

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

maybe the negh'vars disruptors are so powerful that they cause a lot of bleed through damage, so when targetting an area with shield generators they are capable of knocking those generators out.

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

I believe that was an error, so I don't treat that as canon.

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

By the Dominion Wars the K'tingas are over 100 years old are clearly look obsolete. In the end it was the Negh'Var that brought down the DS9 shields. This shows that she's a lot morepowerful than other Klingon ships. I still like the K'tinga but she's more comparable to the ageing Excelsior...

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

In the Mirror universe I believe the Regent's flagship was about 5x the size of a regular negh'var. It was absolutely massive.

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

She was able to shrug off torpedos from DS9 with ease, which suggests she is very well protected. Somehow I still think the Vor'cha is the main Klingon ship in the TNG era as it's new and seems to be powerful for its size.

Negh'var - what type of warship is it?

what type of warship is the Negh'Var? She's the biggest ship in the Klingon fleet. She's a lot bigger than the Vor'cha class. She appears to have a lot more firepower and much stronger protection than the Vor'Cha. But I don't know whether the ship is an actual battleship or not? She...

    Borg Weapons

well ^^^ they'd have to outfit their ships with every weapon they had assimilated to do that. that of course would be pointless.

What if the Klingons wanted to join the Federation?

Well what the Klingons do with conquered Worlds may not be up for debate. what is the definition of a conquered world? The Klingons policies of settlement and colonisation may mean that many conquered worlds have been in klingon control for centuries and could well be populated by a majority of...

    Borg adaption

When starfleet encounter borg drones either on a borg ship or on another vessel starfleet are force rotate the modulation of their phasers to hinder the borg from adapting, even so the borg eventually adapt and an energy shield of some sort kicks in to hold off the phaser fire. how come borg...

    defiants cloak

Starfleet chose to use a Romulan cloaking device because as it has been said- the Federation has the no cloaking device treaty with the Romulans. So in order to use the cloak they needed permission from Romulus and naturally the Romulans wanted someone to supervise the use of the cloak...

    how did the Defiant survive?

the American WW2 Destroyer analogy is a good one. I agree, I imagine Starfleet would produce the Defiant at a similarly high rate.

What if the Klingons wanted to join the Federation?

well maybe you're right. But given the size of the Klingon Empire I still don't think the Federation would allow it to join. There are too many Klingons and the Empire is too big. heck the KDF is probably bigger numerically than Starfleet. you might even call it a Klingon takeover of the...

    how did the Defiant survive?

you've also gotta factor in one of the most of important things in a ship... well THE most important thing. THE CREW!! what's the crew compliment of a Defiant class starship compared to an Akira class, Galaxy class or Nebula class etc? I'm pretty sure the Defiant requires a lot smaller...
