Picard finale spoilers. (I put it in my custom title as hopefully an explanation for the avatar.) I read in the Picard forum that images and spoilers from the last two episodes are leaking out all over social media, so the avatar was trying to give the impression of someone who still has to go out and navigate the world, but was trying to not see anything while they're out doing it!

when i was at my mom's place i was buying a bottle of scotch - the cashier guy asked me 'anything else' - i gave him a mean look and said 'young man i'm pushing 60; a bottle of booze a day needs to be enough'

Sorry, it is unrelated to the queen (I was actually using it a few days before she passed). It is to commemorate and honour the victims of the mass murder in Saskatchewan (the background is the provincial flag) on September 4.
