Marvel Studios may be planning more MCU for the small screen

Interesting choice. I haven't seen Boardwalk Empire, but I've seen Cox in Stardust and a couple other things. I'm looking forward to seeing his take on Matt Murdock.

Hmm, he's not quite as physically imposing as Fisk, but then, who is? And he is a reasonably big guy who's able to convey intelligence and menace, so I guess it's a pretty good choice.

I'm a big fan of D'Onofrio, so I couldn't be happier with this casting. I know he's not as big of a guy as the comic book Fisk or Micheal Clark Duncan in the movie, but D'Onofrio is a great actor, so I'm confident he'll be good in the role.

Well, Duncan wasn't nearly as big as the comics' Kingpin either -- big, yes, but not in the same sumo-wrestler way as Fisk. The only real actor I can think of who's about the right size is Jorge Garcia, but he's definitely not the right type otherwise.

The first actor to play Wilson Fisk in live action was John Rhys-Davies in The Trial of the Incredible Hulk, which was a backdoor pilot for a Daredevil series. So there's precedent for casting strong actors who are heavyset but not huge. (Rhys-Davies didn't go bald either, or even shave his beard. Nor was he ever called "Kingpin.")

Well, if it was good enough for The Trial of the Incredible Hulk then it's good enough for me!

Sounds like an original character, but anything's possible. Besty Beatty is the closest I could think of as far as Daredevil characters go.

Cool. I've liked Rosario Dawson in pretty much everything I've seen her in. Although I always get her confused with Vanessa Ferlito, so that's really going to drive me crazy if Graceland is still on when this starts.

How about Typhoid Mary? Or perhaps even Matt's current love interest in the comics, Kirsten McDuffy?

I'm not really familiar with Waid's stuff, but I do think Kirsten Mcduffie is very plausible.

Mary is a possibility, but doesn't quite fit. This character seems like someone focused on fighting bad guys in Hell's Kitchen. While Mary did that at the beginning, I don't think she did it for Hell's Kitchen so much as because it was fun for her.
