FLASH series being developed for The CW

Yeah, that is a nice looking effect, and it seems pretty close to how is power is usually represented in animation and comics.
 
I need more! Hope they keep Barry as the upbeat hero having fun with his power. Dont want a brooding Flash leave that for Wally.

I agree. A show can have moments of tension and angst without having the hero moping around guilt ridden all the time. We don't need a repeat of Arrow ( and that is not knocking Arrow!)

I also hope that the show allows him to use his brains as well as his powers.
 
The trailer looks great, but somewhere in the back of my mind I keep seeing Sheldon in his Flash costume.
 
The trailer was pretty cool. I'm still not thrilled about the costume, especially the way too dark red, but if the show is good it won't be a big deal. Like others have said, I hope Barry keeps an upbeat attitude, we don't need another hero with a dark past/attitude. I'm still not a huge fan of barry's actor, but I'm willing to give him (and the writing) a chance. It would be cool if we got two good DC shows.
 
Grant Gustin has really captured the spirit of the character quite well. And I wouldn't worry about them turning him into a brooding character.

They're going to do a lot of character work, I'm sure. With the Flash his powers are so uber there isn't much chance of him being in real danger. I remember somebody on the JL/JLU toon saying the Flash's powers were so great that they just wished they could kill him.
 
I don't think the music in the teaser really fit the mood properly, but other than that it was decent.
 
The Flash going against Agents of Shield on Tuesdays seems like a mistake to me. Although finding a non comic related show timeslot is getting very difficult.
