NFL Discussion - 2013 Season

It's not an exciting game, but I think it's fascinating. Two teams at the highest level of their sport and one utterly dominated by the other, that doesn't happen often.

If I was a hard core Bronco fan I'd have shit myself by now and pulled out all my hair. This is a total blowout and it's boring. Even the ads suck.

At this point if you're a fan, you just realize it's not your night. It's when your team comes up just short or get beat at the last minute the really makes you want to shove a rusty car antennae up your dickhole.

Oh, and then you get a call 6 hours after your favorite team loses in the final minute of the SB asking for a divorce. That was a hoot.

36-0 and Bob Dylan doing a car commercial.

It just keeps getting more and more bizarre...

Am I missing something? Troy Aikman has now twice suggested that Denver needs multiple 2-pt conversions to catch up. They needed that last one that they just pulled off, but now they're down by 28. So that's four touchdowns and four extra points, to make up a 28 point deficit. Highly unlikely they'll do that, but I don't see why he thinks they need to do more 2-pt conversions.

Not sure what the 2-point conversion was about. Still at best a 4 score game I guess.

Seattle's best friend would be a 7 minute drive that results in a score at this point.

The 2p conversion was especially strange as Denver punted a couple times earlier instead of going for it at 4th down.

I mean, if you're going to risk it, why not really put the chips in?

And Seattle gets the ball a first down away from a reasonable FG attempt.

Can't wait for a quarter full of 4th down prayers and onside kicks...

Well, in the crazy alternate universe he lives in, where Denver will score four more touch downs against Seattle, one more 2 point conversion would put them ahead.

Because the down side of missing a 2 pt. conversion is that you get only 6 points. The down side of not making a first down on 4th down is, you give up the ball(with no points) AND you give the other team good field position.
