Maybe I'm just being snippy, but that three minutes felt more like Star Wars than the whole three prequels.
Actually it felt exactly like the 'wacky' part of the prequels where Artoo took on the Super Battledroids in the hangar. That sure was 'great'.

Between Threepio and Han, grumpiness was a key part of the OT, and a factor lacking in the PT. Obi-Wan had some, I guess, but it was an awkward fit on a Jedi, and, now that I think on it, a very different and less whimsical angle than Guiness' portrayal, for in-universe reasons unclear to me. And Boss Nass had some of the grumps, but... well, it'll be good to have a properly grumpy lead character again.Yes, you're being snippy.

Although if you remember, she wasn't very good at the job Jango and Dooku hired her for. She missed Padmé twice in a row and then failed to kill Obi-Wan. Dog the Bounty Hunter could carry a can of bear mace and do a better job.
She was cute, though. If you're going to be tracked by a bounty hunter that probably helps.

I think KotOR cornered the market on a-hole droids with HK-47.
I wish HK-47 hadn't been such a difficult Build-a-Droid action figure to get the parts for. He'd have been amazing as a separate, already-assembled figure released in his very own packaging, and you might be surprised how many Star Wars collectors love his figure and want to see him again at some point.

You mean a carbonite copy like Dash Rendar or Lando Calrissian? Honestly, I found the lack of a "rogue" in the PT to be a refreshing change of pace. I'm glad GL decided to do something other than try to replicate every character trait from the OT.
No, but it is a nice archetype when used well. Look at Quinlan Vos.
For the record, Qui-Gon pretty much called BS on everyone and everything without being the wise-cracking "archetype" of Solo, Rendar, Vos, or Calrissian. Those are fun characters. But over time, they experience diminishing returns. I think Star Wars, as a franchise, is strong enough to exist without that "rogue" trope featuring prominently in every one of its incarnations.
That might make the twist of story all the more titillating.
I'm an avid (rabid) Lego collector and since Lego releases are planned some 1-2 years ahead of schedule, big spoilers are starting to slip out about some upcoming ships and characters in Star Wars: Rebels due to be released in the summer, I believe. Between these and the newly announced large scale Sandcrawler set, looks us SW:LEGO fans better start saving!
On The Ghost:
The freighter called The Ghost contains a smaller starfighter which can dock with the main ship called, The Phantom. It resembles the cockpit of a B wing, or a Lambda class shuttle with clipped wings. This wedge shaped fighter looks to dock at the rear of the ship, between the long, forked like engines.
On additional characters:
Kannan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla and Zeb Orrelios come with the Phantom. The minifigs on the box are prelims (not finished) and one of the stand-in figures is a Twi'lek. It has been suggested that a Bothan spy may be one of those characters. Another is wielding a blue lightsabre.
Ezra Bridger comes with the Phantom and the newly revealed droid. Perhaps Ezra is a candidate of the Empire's academy and is working both sides?

Frankly I'd rather have Ahsoka in hiding with her head down or just plain dead than be yet another good character who turns to the dark side. A few are okay but when we're talking about Miss Teen Sunshine Ahsoka let's not.

Now that I think about it, I've never seen Star Wars do a "fall to the dark side story" very well, or even what I'd call convincingly. It's usually either too fast and feels forced or is artificiall induced. Exar Kun was probably the least "bad" I'm aware of, but he was an arrogant, power hungry git from the offset, so not much of a character arc.
In film/TV canon, I think that the Barriss Offee storyline was about the best it's been done.

Although Obi-Wan seemed to know who Sifo-Dyas was in Episode II when asked about him by Lama Su (the prime minister of Kamino). As a high-ranking Jedi Master who was on the Council at some point he was probably known by every member of the Order, at least by sight and image if not personally.
It probably would have been more interesting for Dooku to have taken the fictional name "Sifo-Dyas" in order to pretend that a member of the Jedi Council ordered the creation of the Clone Army and no such man actually existed, but oh well. It's a shame we didn't know more about him. It's one of those loose ends of the PT that just never got tied and was left hanging with a big "screw it, let somebody else explain it."

The problem with a fictional name is that once Obi-Wan gets to Kamino you're stuck with the Jedi knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the army was ordered by an outsider/impostor. That's a little different from the army having supposedly been ordered by one of their own.

I thought there was a vague hint of such a thing during the Mortis arc, but I may have been reading too much into it.
