My parents have had Broncos season tickets since the '70s. This year, their account number came up in the Super Bowl ticket lottery. I will be using those tickets and going to MetLife Stadium in two weeks time.

Time to ride!

That "interview" with Sherman was great.

I am relieved I don't have to suffer through the 49ers in the Super Bowl. It would have been intolerable around here.

Sorry, but I can't root for any team employing Pete Carroll. Then again, Russell Wilson is pretty awesome.....

I hope Payton Manning Tears Seattle Apart. Seattle desereved to win today (Despite the refs, who were ATROCIOUS) but the end seeing Sherman use the choking gesture and then that "interview" makes me hate that team even more. People complain so much about Harbaugh, Seattle isn't that much better. Go Payton and Go Denver.

Sour grapes y'all.

Sherman is AWESOME and that interview was hilarious. Russell Wilson as always is a class act in his interviews.

Party in Seattle tonight! WOOO!!!! GO HAWKS! SUPERBOWL BOUND!

Enjoy your Victory. I'm hoping Manning eats Seattle alive in the Super Bowl. That would make this loss feel a little better. Still hurts not only losing, but losing Bowman to a tore ACL. :(

Seattle didn't earn it today, but they were the better team this season overall so I can't really hold it against them. The officiating was awful though, and that always cheapens a win.

I'm sorry Bowman left that way, and I hope he's able to play again. That was literally painful to watch.
ETA: My mom hated Pete Carroll. I think she has only softened somewhat.

GO HAWKS!!! This is amazing! And ladies and gentlemen, this might be... the Pot Bowl!

Sherman is an arrogant little shit, isn't he? I hope Manning makes him look like a damn fool in two weeks.

and

Sherman graduated from Stanford with a degree in Communication. I bet Stanford regrets letting that happen.

Well what Michael Crabtree did, pushing him back, was pretty classless then. Also the interview, was just after that incident happened, you expect him to be calm? How many racecar drivers have you heard on Racinboys throw a huge fit after being wrecked, and dropping F'Bombs. etc? How many other athletes have done interviews after situations like that and in a heated moment? As far as I am concerned, adrenaline was running, and he was angry about a call that was pointless, and stupid by the refs. If they are going to start making that call, they need to do it every time a player acknowledges the opposing team.
2nd interview was much better. I'll take a player with emotion over a robot even if they make mistakes.

Please stop with the bellyaching about the officiating. If San Francisco had been playing at home, they may have gotten more calls, but that's why the regular season is played. Someone tell Harbaugh's team to play better in the regular season and they might get a playoff home game.

Speaking of Harbaugh, it was so nice seeing him with that pained expression at the end of the game and watching him have to shake Pete Carroll's hand -- in defeat. He so deserves every ass kicking he gets. I'm really happy for Pete Carroll. Always nice seeing a ex-Trojan doing well in the NFL.

As for the "interview" with the Seattle DB who made the game saving play, I laughed out loud when he called Crabtree out by name and then berated him as a player. You don't see that too often.

As for the SB, Manning and the Bronco's offense is on a serious roll, but Seattle appears to me to be the exact kind of team to beat them -- great defense (DB's in particular) and running game. In the SB, defense usually wins.

3 AFC West teams made it to the playoffs, now one of them will play a former AFC West team in the Superbowl.
