It's about how he runs his board, or ran his board with an iron fist.

Everything else can be explained away by Grumpy Old Man Syndrome.

WW doing her thing! I think it's safe to assume that the MOS sequel and Justice League will have more wanton destruction matching MOS. Now I'm wondering who this Justice League will be fighting against.

Lex Luthor plus Metallo and/or Doomsday are the top rumors for the next movie.

I want to say Brainiac with his army of drones and skull ship. But with MOS already doing an alien invasion of Earth. Doing Brainiac would be too soon.

Yeah, the WW in those panels is exactly the kind of angry, hardass warrior I've never been a big fan of. Hopefully Gadot will actually be able to make the character somewhat charming and likeable again.

Gadot was very charming and likeable in Fast & Furious 6.

I think you'd need more than Luthor and Metallo to justify bringing this proto-Justice League together. Doomsday is closer to the mark. Maybe all three?

I'm hoping for Darkseid at some point, but they'd probably save him for the full League.

I think they'll have enough to do with Superman, Batman, and maybe Luthor, without crowding the film with a bunch of villains.

I wouldn't expect WW to play too big a role...they're probably just establishing her for the JL film.

Depends on the design of the story. Not all characters need a lot of time devoted to characterization and backstory. You could have one or two villains in the mix in addition to Luthor as muscle villains.

Agreed. Adams' Lois Lane was the first Lois in the history of ever to not be a complete idiot.

Sherilyn Fenn would have been acerbic and fantastic 10 years ago.

Tiny too how ever, but who gives a frack.

^I never thought of it before, but yeah, Sherilyn Fenn would have been an awesome Lois Lane back in the day.

For my money, the best take on Lois was from the animated series from the 90's (voiced by Dana Delaney). I have yet to see a live-action version that nails it as well as that show did.

I did think Amy Adams was very good, though.

Sherilyn Fenn would have made a great Phantom Lady, too. :shifty:

She could definitely pull off the costume.

The Wonder Woman as bad ass warrior is a recent development. Traditionally, she's about reforming her foes. Her greatest foe from the 1940s, Paula Von Gunther reformed and became a supporting character. Wonder Woman was about love and peace, Mars/Ares was one of her main enemies.

^ now Ares is her brother and the one who trained her in cqc and weapons combat.

I'm still unsure how i feel about WW being a daughter of Zeus.

According to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter Jason Momoa is in talks to join the cast. Speculation is that he could be playing Doomsday. One of THR's sources speculated that he could be playing the Martian Manhunter if there are more JLA members introduced, but that sounds like a big "if".

How many more people can they cram into this thing?

Let's not forget, the first film was crap.
