When enough emoticons are gathered in one place it's in their very nature to start what we call 'dancing' -for lack of a better word- in exquisitely intricate geometric patterns. A discovery I made in the wilder parts of the internet yesterday:
Overall I like them, but there are a few that annoy me. I particularly hatewhen it is used in response to another person's post (as opposed to a ridiculous news headline or something). It is just rude and childish.
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread. I don't like the rolleyes emoticon for this very reason.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some emoticons to steal...
I remember tweaking that one to making it more panicky by having the guy run both ways AND flashing the textI love smilies...all mine are stolen, but I can't remember how I did it...
