The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II!

I'm sure many of you are aware of Thrawn's fantastic flow chart to guide us through the interconnectivity of the lit-verse. That was made nearly a year ago, so it felt like time to make the next version, adding on the latest releases (and few not out yet), and adding in some more of the related older books, as well as finding room for New Frontier. Thrawn has been helping me refine the mark II, which has now been released onto the page on my blog where I host it.

I hope you all continue to find it a useful guide. Thanks once again to Thrawn for creating it in the first place!

Thank you for updating the Almighty Reading Order Flow Chart! :bolian:

It is useful to keep track of new novels and will also help me finding the right order when I start reading older series.

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

This is really an awesome piece of work; much better than mine. 8of5 did a great job!

This is the best community, I swear. I did monthly review threads with identical polls for a couple years - along comes Sho, taking all those, standardizing them, and writing a program to collect and compare them. Boom. I do a flowchart to explain some continuity concepts - along comes 8of5, to host and vastly improve it.

You people are cool.

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

I really like this flowchart. Even better than the first! Makes me want to hurry up with my big chronological reading lists website.

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

Gotta say that's pretty impressive. Beautifully done. :bolian:

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

Nicely done and so easy to follow. Merci.

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

I like the flow-chart, although I personally would've included more than a single direct 'link-line' from the DS9-R to its Typhon Pact continuations (RBoE, ZSG, PoN, and RtD) and placed the latter four in chronological order.

Chronological order? Good idea, Imho.

That makes me think: Would it be a good idea to add dates to the publications?

For example:
Indistinguishable from Magic
(2383)
Or would this gimmick be a cluttering overkill?

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

The Reeves-Stevens' Millennium should be listed with DS9.

Spectacular job!

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

Great work!

Re: The Almighty Star Trek Lit-verse Reading Order Flow Chart, Mark II

Awesome work! Thrawn's original flowchart helped me put together a chronological list of the novels because that's how I wanted to read them for some reason. It's nice to see someone take that chart and update/refine it further. :techman:
