The Most Annoying Scene EVER Award Goes To...

Season one Troi, whenever she sensed someone's emotions;

Any kind of overacting, particularly in TNG--look at the scene from "Gambit" between Riker and Troi in the Ready Room- that was some bad, unnecessary soap opera acting .

Rom from DS9-- there are some scenes where's he's interesting, and there are some scenes ...

In Generations, Data's Mr. Tricorder joke that only he finds funny and his obnoxious laughter.

This is probably mine. The whole Data emotions saga (except for "Descent") should have been avoided.

The only time the emotion chip was used correctly was First Contact, when the Borg Queen used it against him.

In Generations, it turn Data into an annoying coward.

It was pretty much completely ignored in the last two TNG movies.

While it was dramatically effective, and I would never argue for it to be edited out, surely we can all agree that the "Bonk, bonk on the head" TOS scene in "Miri" is truly annoying?

That was its purpose, of course. But -- phew!

JJ Abrams 2009 Star Trek movie.

I see your call, and raise you Star Trek V:The Final Frontier. :)

I'll toss Star Trek: Nemesis into the pot and any episode of TNG where Wesley saves the day while all the officers stand around looking stupid.

I'll up the ante with Generations and First Contact.

As for a scene from any of the movies...the most annoying scene I can think of is in Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier.
It's the scene where Kirk says he knew he wouldn't die when he fell off the mountain cause Spock and McCoy were there. Then he explains how he's always known he'd die alone.
I always skip over that and go to where Kirk ask Spock what he's doing and Spock says: I'm preparing to toast a marshmelon.

DS9 first because it's the sacredest cow:

"Look through the scope, what do you see?"
"I see pictures of people smiling."
"The killer wanted to destroy emotion. The killer must be vulcan!"

(Biggest facepalm moment in all of Trek)

Every scene where people are inexplicably obsessed with Vic Fontaine

Voyager:

WINGS OF FIRE! WINGS OF FIRE! WINGS OF FIRE!

(If the planet's people are that stupid they were probably better off with the farengi.)

Native Americans were influenced by aliens and that's why they're so spiritual

TNG:

Data can get drunk Wesley singlehandedly takes over the ship

Tasha drug speech

We can't save these people from extinction because a thousand years from now one of them might be the next Hitler

TOS:

We are different! I have the black on this side of my face!

I am Ares!

Enterprise:

In the 29th century every six year old can contact the past from his school desk.

Decontamination sauna

Invent prime directive in five minutes and decide based on it to let an entire species die.

Cure borg assimilation in five minutes then forget it exists

Followed closely by every other scene in the series

"Allamaraine count to four./Allamaraine then three more./Allamaraine if you can see./Allamaraine you'll come with me" ;)

To be fair in that scene, you can tell even Nana Visitor was struggling with that scene.
