Favourite uniform badge?

What are your favourites? I'm going with the ones from the last Star Trek movie. Small, simple, smart. Both the slightly stylized Enterprise uniform ones with the department symbol carved in, and the plain gold ones worn by cadets (on the collar) and instructors (bigger ones, on the chest) at Starfleet academy.

I've never been fond of the circles, ovals and other shapes that the other series' and movies have mounted the arrowhead on. I think it looks best by itself.

Just the badge alone, I'd go for the alternate future ones that were used in All Good Things/The Visitor/Endgame.

However, I only liked the NG "Future Imperfect" "Parallels" revised combadge with four horizontal parallel bars that defined rank[had a purpose] behind a delta shield.

We rarely got to see it though. The crew mixed the uniforms on the Enterprise-D and the only other time I remember seeing it was when Worf first showed up on DS9.

My first favorite would be the faux-future communicators from TNG's "Future Imperfect", but in general, my favorite is the regular TNG badge.

I started costuming after seeing "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", so I had a fondness for the embroidered insignias on six different division circle patches. Noticing in the "Star Trek Concordance" that different ships had different insignias, I developed my own insignia for the USS Hood and used it in fanfic.

When pre-publicity ST II introduced the metal version of the USS Enterprise badge, I extrapolated a Hood version. Then, of course, ST II came out in cinemas - and the USS Reliant had the same insignia as the Enterprise. When I bought a commercial metal replica, I used it to cast a modified version with my Hood design.

I like the simplicity of the reimagined TOS badge.

Coming second would be the com badge from All Good Things, but only when worn by Admiral Riker or Captain La Forge on the FC uniform. The uniforms from All Good Things are best forgotten, but the badge has always been a favourite of mine.

It probably is my favourite badge used. The Future Imperfect ones, with the rank insignia are also pretty cool. As for the new movie ones, I'm pretty 'meh' towards them.

I liked the Future Imperfect ones as well but the only problem for me is that it only looked good on the ranks of LCDR to CAPT. The ENS badge with one bar kind of made it look incomplete.

DS9 era for TV/Movies, although my favorites are in STO - the ones that look like the TOS era, but are still commbadges.

My favorite was probably the "Generations" badge that ended up being co-opted by DS9 and VOY.
