I liked the series but then I really like Sam Neil too so i didn't mind the slow story. Wife says the show is cancelled which is said but ill live.

Ugh. Epic fail on the cliffhanger.

Designed to make it look like it gave answers, yet it really answered NOTHING. Just added more questions.

And then the idiotic scene when she catches her grandpa, yet manages to let him escape. And then the 'dead' cliffhanger. Yawn.

I'm officially done with this show - whether or not it is renewed, I am removing the season pass as soon as I post this.

EDIT: My TiVo season pass list is now 1 item shorter.

The new questions were bullshit.

the tracking shit was done so much better on the X-Files.

What happened to the key being made with 21st century lasers?

All that outpost reminded me of was the broke down escape white house they built at crystal lake... Friday the 13th? WTF?

what about the tacking sytems in Taken when the humans figured out the frequencies used by greys.

And besides, with tech from the 60s, that place was going to be shit with out satellites? Am I supposed to believe that the future is sending satellites into the pasts orbit? and then we get down to manpower... They had what, a single technician looking after that place? So much for a sinister cabal on top of a global conspiracy.

Weaksauce.

Not sure I buy the entire global conspiracy, as they only come back in the US. The main issue I have with the entire story isn't the BS its the phasing. The story is too slow and not complex enough.

I enjoyed the final two episodes of the season. I guess I may have a higher tolerance for mystery shows like this then others. The slow pace and slow reveal of information didn't really bother me. I liked the characters and the SF elements of the show, thought it worked well. Is it a great show, no but its okay and sometimes okay is good enough.

However if the show is cancelled, no real uproar from me. I enjoyed it while it lasted and will move on to the next show next year.

Finally had the chance the watch the final ep last night, and unlike many others, I enjoyed it. Enough so that I want to see more, which at this point, seems unlikely. Agreed that the Steve McQueen car chase was a highlight and I liked how Doc refused to give up the key until he had found Rebecca.

Still, so many questions. Hell, they have yet to address just when both Lucy and Beauregard end up in this century and whether they found Hauser and the people he's working for, or the other way around. And did that scientist just appear in the Warden's Room right after they opened it, or had he been there for a spell?

I think the show still has potential, but I have the feeling the writing's on the wall. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

I enjoyed the last two episodes; things finally seemed to be moving forward and I liked Doc getting in on the action. However, it might have been too little, too late and the show will probably be cancelled. Ah well. Like Procutus, I think it had potential.

Thanks, nice to see I wasn't the only one. I'm looking forward to the DVDs, just to see what extras they tack on. Maybe if the show is really cancelled, they might reveal a bit more of where they planned to go with it, if they interview the showrunners.

Finally watched this today, though I almost turned it off in the first ten minutes when Lucy side-stepped Doc's question about what the jumping is.

New observation this morning. Damn, after seeing her in the hospital scenes, Rebecca is my favorite for "needs to play Powergirl" now. What a rack!

I fell asleep about 20 minutes in trying to watch the two hour season/series finale. Not a good sign considering I switched over to this week's episode of Castle which kept me thoroughly entertained.

I tried watching the 2-hour finale, got quickly bored and ff'ed to the end. The extended ad for Mustang, aka the car chase, was fun. The ending was just as much bullshit as everyone said it was. Wasserface would be miraculously revived next season if there was going to be a next season. Goodbye, show, glad FOX will have a new slot to fill with something better (she said, with unwarranted optimism).

FOX is doing very well globally with that godawful mawkish pile of crap, Touch (proving once again that the world has terrible taste :rommie:) so it's weird that none of their pilots for next year are sf/f genre shows. I keep expecting them to make some fast substitutions, at least in time for midseason.

I think I've finally figured the whole thing out: Warden James is actually a Sontaran, surgically altered to pass as a human, and he's setting the stage for the Sontarans to conquer the Earth in 2012!

:rommie:

And yes, Rebecca does have an impressive set of ta-tas.

And yes, Rebecca does have an impressive set of ta-tas.

Even her ta-tas couldn't save the show from being completely terribad.

I watched the first episode in the finale two-parter last night and "Tommy Madsen" just now and I'd be hard-pressed to explain a damn thing about what's going on...and I was fully paying attention to both episodes and didn't just have it on as background noise.

The writers need to figure out that a broadcast show is 40-42 minutes long and use that to their advantage instead of cramming all the relevant happenings at the very beginning and end. It's like the Smallville seasons, only compressed into an episode (the early seasons of Smallville that I actually watched typically had great season openers and finales but failed to do much of interest in between).

I won't miss this show if it gets cancelled. Considering how much I didn't like Terra Nova, I'd have to say that ended on a stronger note than this show did.
