That is fantastic - thank you. I still prefer Pine's performance - but that was really intriguing to watch. Very well acted and put together.

And, yes: Pike is bluntly alluring.

I wasn't too impressed with the acting skills of femPike, but femKirk sure has a pair of beautiful eyes...

I don't think Tom Hardy is particularly pretty either, but he does have one of those sexy British accents.

Hardy is in the 'almost ugly' school of attractive. I'm not sure quite what that means, but I think Joaquin Phoenix is in it.

And once again you want the blonde and I want the brunette.. actually I thought was really good, captured the understated quality of Pike.

I can see that. He's from the rugged, tough almost-ugly school.

Some of it has to do with the lack of symmetry in English faces as opposed to Americans who have been bred into much more symmetrical faces.

Okay I did have a weird crush on John Candy 1000 years ago. And Jack Black is always cute to me.

I always have trouble with being attracted to actors etc.. though as I'm mainly attracted to characters. I like fiction best.

True for me as well. I think Reed from Enterprise is sexy mainly because I like the character's personality (and his British accent). I'm sure the actor's personality is quite different. I don't think I would be attracted to the same actor in any other role.

One of the few actors I'd say I'm actually attracted to is Richard Armitage. Apart from having a very sexy voice and being handsome in almost every role he plays, he seems to be a genuinly nice guy judging from interviews I've seen with him.

That is fantastic. I don't think I've ever seen it but I am going to do so now. I have read the book several times and not been one to watch Austen on film the books being really too perfect. But that looks amazing.

It's a television series, and it's brilliantly done. Sally Hawkins is perfect.
