Fringe is back tomorrow night, Folks! We're down to the final eight episodes of Season 4, and possibly the final eight for the series. I hope it's a roller-coaster ride from here on, with no filler material. Though I'm not at all sure what to make of the above description for this ep. I am intrigued by the apparent return of the strange device from Season 1.

Hope to see all of the usual gang here tomorrow for commentary and fun!

Oh, and according to Dark Horizons, if Fringe is cancelled, the storylines will get wrapped up in a one shot graphic novel.

Hopefully this isn't the first of the final 8 episodes ever. I'd really like to see at least a 13 episode 5th season.

I'm also hoping for a 5th season. I'm a huge fan of Fringe and would hate to see it not come back. I ususally watch the episode, then check out these commentary posts the next day to see if you guys spotted things that I didn't. Always a fun read. :bolian:

I'm always spotting things on the second viewing that I miss while watching the broadcast and trying to type at the same time. With this show, a second look is mandatory!

I'm sort of hoping that we might get an explanation tonight for the 'mystery device' shown above. I do like the connections being made to the first season.

I believe there is going to be a fifth season and that season will be the last. I also believe in tonight's episode, Peter will realize there isn't a home timeline out there with his Olivia waiting for him, that the Olivia of the timeline he is in is his Olivia, and there seems to be a convergence of the original and alternate timelines. Peter and Olivia will get back together but there is the issue of Olivia's impending demise which the last episodes of the season will likely build up to.

I'm sorry I'll miss Fringe tonight but I'm off to see The Hunger Games in a little while. Will definitely watch Fringe on Sunday.
