wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Okay. I just read on a facebook page that I follow that the reason Kane has his mask on is because the WWE wants to set a new Guinness world record for the "largest gathering of people wearing masks". I guess look out for advertisements or mentions of this on WWE programming if true. What a dumb ass reason.

Really? I saw that segment last night and actually didn't think it was that big of a deal. Now if that is the reason, that really does blow.

Yeah...I thought Kane's return, combined with Triple H's lame ass near revisionist history promo on the Undertaker might herald the return of Undertaker. No doubt they'll actually give a story reason.

Yeah I saw the HHH thing on Youtube, and my only thought to the WWE was way to go screwing up one of the best promo's your company ever did this year guys. Seriously, that thing from HHH last night made what he said the night after Wrestlemania have way less of an impact now which really sucked. It was an awesome match, and both guys gave it their all, but to have what I heard last night compared to what I heard him say after Wrestlmania, that was rather depressing.

I thought about that as well. I really have no idea what they were thinking with the start of his promo last night, it was an almost near TNA-ish promo and I never thought Trips would make one of those :)

I wouldn't read too much into Triple H's promo about The Undertaker... It sounds like a classic setup for a swerve where everyone from Triple H to Michael Cole will talk about how "The Game" put Taker through hell and how he was stretchered out and hasn't been heard from since. Then of course, Undertaker will return and everything said will be rendered moot.

It's great to see Kane back - and with a new mask too! I'm hoping that an extended main event push is on the horizon that will be far better than Kane's brief main event run last year. Kane is looking pretty in shape as well - not that he's never been out of shape per say, but he's looking similar in build to the last time he donned a mask back in 2003. I'm thinking they might go with down the monster heel root, although given Kane's consistent popularity, this might be hard to pull off.

I'd look for Chris Jericho to return prior to the Royal Rumble, I doubt they'll put him in the match as a surprise entry because this will result in a face reception from the offset. It seems that they are looking to do Punk vs Jericho at Wrestlemania and in this situation we are talking having Jericho as the heel. I had an idea that Jericho could be revealed as an associate of John Laurinaitis and this would automatically put him into a feud with Punk. I can imagine Punk losing the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber with Jericho winning the match and the title, making the Wrestlemania match for the WWE title. There's also the possibility that Punk will lose the title prior to Royal Rumble and win the Rumble in order to get the title shot at Wrestlemania where Jericho is champion. Or they could simply not have a match for the title at Wrestlemania - in which case there needs to be some good booking going on in order to justify why they need to have a match, let alone feud with each other!

I think it's a very real possibility that Mark Henry will lose the World Heavyweight Championship at TLC. Obviously we're talking about Big Show winning, but then again there's the Kane factor. If Kane somehow gets made a part of the match, it's likely that he'll win the title. There is history with Henry and a heel turn on Big Show (his most recent tag team partner) will be the perfect execution to a monster heel push. Imagine it as Kane entering the match near the point where either Henry or Show is dominating and destroying them both before pinning one of them to capture the WHC. If my speculations about Undertaker and Kane being Wrestlemania opponents - the monster heel push of Kane could start here.

I'm starting to think that the updated Control promo is a repackaged Undertaker along with Michelle McCool as a herald of Darkness or something like that. It could also possibly be Jericho with maybe Stephanie. I'm still waiting to find out how everything will be "all right" :) I guess though it kind of is since Punk is WWE Champion again, but I doubt that was what Steph meant by that line. The key to the promo is the control thing. Maybe this also ties in to the conspiracy story line. I'd be excited for this next month if WWE hadn't been a disappointment to me since Money in the Bank.

The only way I could see Henry losing his title before Wrestlemania is if Mark is legit injured severely enough that creative has to write him out.

Was watching some old Thuganomic Cena stuff...and man he was really "edgy" with his disses back at the end point of the Attitude Era. I think fans forget that now. I would fully embrace a Cena heel turn back to Thuganomics. I could see it working again.

Also I kind of hope this is just a speculation piece because I don't have any interest in Triple H/Undertaker III...errr 2.5.

^ Exactly. Especially without any proper build up or anything like that.

I just finished watching this and I was laughing all the way through it at it's patheticness. Tenay and Taz clearly know what is going on but refuse to acknowledge what it is based on. It is almost a carbon copy. I guess this was from last year? It makes me scratch my head that all TNA can think of to do is copy old story lines.

According to this we have three blockbuster main events for Wrestlemania 27. Keep in mind that these are unconfirmed and most likely just rumours from dirt sheets.

-CM Punk Vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title
-Undertaker Vs Triple H III...errr 2.5
-The Rock Vs John Cena

Well, one of those matches (Rock and Cena) is not a rumor. If it becomes a rumor and they end up not doing it other than for extreme circumstances (Like injury), I won't be very happy.

Yeah sorry obviously Rock/Cena is not a rumour. The other two are. I'll actually be ecstatic if they don't do Rock Vs Cena : )

Botchamania 196 and 197 are both online...you'll have to go to youtube for the latter since TNA removed the video from Maffew's site.

Finally there have been rumours all week long that John Cena may find himself booked in TLC in some way or manner. Either as a Special Guest Ref in the Ryder/Ziggler match or they'll find a way to get him in the main event. I think it would be interesting to see how a non-Cena PPV does.

Oh he'll make an appearance in some form or another. I would bet that Cena be involved in one of the already scheduled matches or they'll have a "special bonus" match if they need to fill out the card, which John Cena will be a participant in.

It's a difficult one really, because they cannot put Cena into another program whilst they are building towards the Wrestlemania match with Rock. I suppose they could make a match with Kane taking on Cena after the chokeslam event on Raw, but then we are talking about burying Kane from the onset! It would be bad booking to have Kane go over Cena clean because they need to keep Cena strong as part of the Wrestlemania build. I think special referee in the Ryder/Ziggler match is a given.

If Big Show wins the World Heavyweight Championship at TLC, he'll be the only man to have ever won the WCW, WWE, ECW and World Heavyweight Championships. That's quite an achievement even in the worked environment of professional wrestling. I might be wrong about this, but I think that Big Show still holds the record for being the youngest world champion in professional wrestling history. He was 23 when he won the WCW World Championship for the first time. That's ahead of both Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar who first won world championships when they were 24 years old.

well I hope john is the special referee for the Zack ryder match if they were going to john heel that would be a perfect spot to do it in. screw zack let dolph win turn heel.
and we have what the fuck was that momment in wwe history.

How would that be a perfect spot to turn John heel when Cena is practically responsible for Ryder having the match in the first place, you know when he gave up his spot on Raw?

Jericho talks about what would bring him back. I find his behaviour recently to be absolutely fascinating. We talked briefly a little while ago about the WWE perhaps using social media as a way to return to promoting kayfabe. I'm thinking that if indeed Chris has secretly resigned or something and is preparing to come back in a few weeks that he's been using social media as a means for theatrics? Any further thoughts on this? I really don't know what to make of his behaviour over the last few months. He's never been this much of an ass clown before.

Okay so TLC is tonight and since no one seems to have thoughts on my Jericho question I guess I'll give my predictions. As always the card list is from Wikipedia and doesn't include any last minute added matches or dark matches.

Mark Henry (c) Vs The Big Show WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Chairs Match)

Winner: I'm gonna say The Big Show. I don't like this but I guess Henry has been champion for a couple of months now. That's longer than any WWE Champion in the year I think!! If Henry is injured and written out on Raw tomorrow then we could see a new Champion so yeah my pick is Show.

Triple H Vs Kevin Nash (Sledgehammer Ladder Match)

Winner: Triple H...although if they are going to actually make this a story angle match and progress the conspiracy angle story (I think everyone in the audience has forgotten now) then I could see Nash winning. I could see Trips getting revenge. I don't know what you gain by putting Nash over unless something big is happening.

Dolph Ziggler (c) Vs Zack Ryder (United States Championship Match)

Winner: Ziggler...as much as I'd like to see Ryder win WWE has dropped the ball on stuff like this before so why would this be any different? They love to milk stuff and sometimes miss their opportunity to pull the trigger. Now is the time to capitalise on Ryder's popularity and ride it out but I don't see it happening. Also this could be a wild card match depending if Cena is involved

Randy Orton Vs Wade Barrett (Tables Match)

Winner: Barrett??

Can Randy put someone else over? I'd like to see Wade take this match. I think they're building a really nice heel right now.

Cody Rhodes (c) Vs Booker T (Intercontinental Title Match)

Winner: Booker T By DQ

I can easily see Golddust being involved here...especially if creative has granted him his Wrestlemania dream match against Cody. Golddust has history with Booker T as well (those comedic skits back in the Attitude Era). We could have a run in finish for this one.

CM Punk (c) Vs The Miz Vs Alberto Del Rio (WWE Championship Title, TLC Triple Threat Match)

Winner: CM Punk

If the title changes hands again...oooh boy I'll be really pissed off. I could really see creative booking a crazy finish for this match. The only way I wouldn't be pissed is if Miz wins. If Del Rio wins they need to address the conspiracy angle again. I could see Punk do a Royal Rumble type run next month. I'm sticking with Punk though.

so looking forward to tonight. http://www.wrestlezone.com/

I would like to see the big show win over mark henry
Cm punk comes out on top as the tripple threat.
most of all I want to see ZACK RYDER win.
triple h I have faith he beat kevin nash no doubt about it.
Booker t I hope he creams cody.

Right, here's my TLC predictions. As usual, the pollyanna optimist in me talks as though there'll be clean finishes (though the whole locker room can run in and bludgeon someone in a TLC match and it'd be allowed, so...whatever).

Dolph Ziggler vs Zack Ryder
Who I'd like to win: Ziggler
Who I think will win: Ryder
So it looks a lot like Zack will do it this time. Rumours of Seener guest reffing add to that as well. But I won't mind too much if it moves Ziggler up to the main event; when I watch him wrestle, it'd take a lot to convince me he isn't the best in the E today. As for Ryder, if he does win I doubt he'll hold the title for long; there's only so far acting like a disabled child who's seen Dude, Where's My Car will get you, and I can't see a long run with the US belt being included.

Cody Rhodes vs. Booker T
Who I'd like to win: Cody
Who I think will win: Cody
Booker T might get a chance for a decent spot or two and to do a spinneroonie (and at least his wrestling was better than his commentary, for what it's worth), but the WWE isn't going to halt the momentum of one of its brightest young talents to give BT another go around the block. Or at least I'd hope not. It's not as if there's any mystique there; we see him on TV every week anyway.

Triple H vs. Kevin Nash
Who I'd like to win: Kevin Nash
Who I think will win: Triple H
This could be the WWE looking for a quick finish to a storyline most think has been dreadful, and that's what I think we'll probably get. I love Nash though; I don't expect a great match out of him, but his future in the business shouldn't be in-ring (or rarely in-ring), it should be heading a new nWo. Well, I want to see it. More likely Triple H, the biggest reason to hate wrestling today ('spesh since Orton's not got a strap), will go over. Forget Nash retiring, Levesque's the one I don't want on my TV any more.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
Who I want to win: Barrett
Who I think will win: Barrett
It's been a bit pointless if Barrett doesn't win. The WWE seems to want to build him up so far, and whereas he has a lot to gain from winning, there's nothing in it for Orton. But then, I was saying the same about the Rhodes/Orton feud.

Mark Henry vs. Big Show
Who I want to win: Mark Henry
Who I think will win: Mark Henry
If Big Show wins, Henry gets a rematch. Surely we're not so lacking of talent on Smackdown that we needed three of the same match, let alone 5. We've had a face booked invincibly in Sheamus, who indeed was turned face by the fact he once answered Henry's locker room callout with "Oi'll foight yur!". And yet, it's Show again. Hopefully this'll be it.

CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. The Miz
Who I want to win: ADR
Who I think will win: CM Punk
Punk's going to win. I'm not too bothered by it, but I do still prefer Del Rio. So long as Miz doesn't win, I won't be too unhappy (though if ADR could not look completely weak and undeserving in the match, that would also be good). The Miz is a good heat-attractor on the mic, but a pretty poor wrestler.

Maybe we'll see Kane tonight too. I like him.

well two of the biggest upsets so far are ZACK RYDER IS NOW THE INTERCONTINENTAL CAHMPION. and DANIEL BRYAN IS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.

fantastic PPV :bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian::bolian:

You mean Zack is the United States Champion. I was surprised to find out that Bryan finally cashed in his title. So I take it that aside from the two title changes nothing else happened at the PPV? If so this is why I've started to turn away again.
