Winning.
The Hulk movie should have lived up to the promise of that poster. Not that it was bad, just that it wasn't quite there. Hopefully Whedon and Ruffalo will do the character justice.

Winning.

Hulk: Mediocre, mostly forgotten to the point the part was recast (again) for the Avengers movie. Thor: mostly mediocre, Iron Man: 2 mostly maligned for not being as good as the original and not taking the story arc (Tony's alcoholism) it was going for seriously enough. Avengers, remains to be seen. Iron Man and CA I'll give you.

Now...

: posts a picture of The Dark Knight poster, but can't actually do it due to image host problems :

Genre re-defining levels of awesome.

Hulk was recast cause Noton and Friege couldn't agree, not because it was mediocre.
Thor was most certainly NOT mediocre.
IM2 is, as you say, maligned but unjustly imo just as those who say maligned think it fair I'm sure.

Outside TDK though DC has yet to put out a crowd pleaser that doesn't star the Bat.
They get their next shot with Man of Steel next summer.

Marvel Movies from Marvel Studios = WIN

Seriously, I'm pretty sure TDK was just an action movie about beating people up and an implacable, inscrutable evil (with a sideplot about a guy who goes bad because the script told him to). What's so special about that? Now Superman Returns, that was a genre-busting film. Didn't take, but I chalk that up to the fallen nature of man.

My feelings are a little schizophrenic by company:

X-Men
DC core (Original JLA and their subsidiaries + cartoon Teen Titans + JSA)
.
.
.
Marvel
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
DC Universe

I suppose that means I like Marvel better.

I couldn't get past the ridiculous physics involved in Superman's various attempts to lift and stop things.:shrug:The best live-action Superman I've seen is probably the middle years of Smallville.

Yeah, the last part bugs the shit out of me too. I like to pretend that he tunneled beneath the seabed out of range of the kryptonite and that the kryptonite didn't try to break through the bedrock in order to eat him or whatever was happening there. Then it makes sense. Well, Superman-sense. Superman will never make sense.

You know, I've never seen an episode of Smallville. I suspect, due to the vehement hatred, I would either love it or really hate it. Hard to say.

Generally speaking, Smallville is very entertaining, but people hold it to an impossible standard, especially since the comics the show is based on is just as, if not more, goofy.

Always been DC but very tired of all the 'final crisis' that they keep having every damn year. But in general I like DC heroes much better than Marvel ones.

Gonna go with Marvel. I got no beef with DC but other than Batman and Superman it's kinda ehh for me. DC has arguably the number 1 and 2 superheroes but 3 through like 20 probably go to Marvel.

Batman > Marvel > DC

I voted for Marvel due to a better overall product. DC sucks a lot, but its best is unbelievable.

how many multi-million dollar movie franchises have DC got? ONE.

how many have Marvel got? Eight and counting.

Marvel WIN.

and i find it ludicrous someone's complaining about Marvel having all these 'guys in the same costume'. um, so we'll ignore the entire Green Lantern Corps, 2 Wonder Women, what, 4 Flashes? 2 Firestorms, 2 Batmans, 5 Robins 4 Batgirls, Superman/boy/girl and Power Girl and Green Arrow and his sidekick and 2 Black Canaries and gods knows what else i've missed shall we?

DC is almost 80 years of comic legacy...compared to 10 years of what people are bringing up with Marvel movies. A DC character has been popular the last 10 years...Clark Kent/Superman with Smallville...not to mention Batman...I know haters gonna hate but don't act like DC is shit. ;) :p

Why do people even like Batman? He's not a nice person, he's psychologically monotonous, and he's not even a very effective police presence. Serious question.
