You mean ROTS? He was the character that was introduced in ROTS, and if you weren't paying attention to that mini-Clone Wars animation thing they did, you were left wondering where the heck he came from.

Yeah. Didn't see the cartoon. I just kept thinking: why would a cyborg have a cybernetic body but flesh lungs, especially with a bad cough?

I saw the cartoons, but I don't remember them very well. They were so booooooooooring.

In hindsight I suppose Boba Fett was introduced in a similar fashion, with the Holiday Special and all - something I forgot about when I made my first reply.

I have a vague recollection (probably for the DVD) of Lucas saying that the cough was a result of the cybernetics not working so well with his remaining squishy parts. Make of that what you will.
