I saw this story yesterday, and after reading more into. But to kill your parents and throw a party. Talk about an unstable child.

A Florida teen brutally bashed his parents to death with a hammer, then threw a party organized with Facebook invites while his victims lay in their master bedroom.

Nothing new in this sort of thing.

Remember the Menedez brothers, Blew their parents away and then lived a life of luxury until the law caught up with them.

Now, i'm usually against capital punishment, but when a kid (while i'm not much older, he's still under 18.) uses a hammer to bash in his parent's heads, i'm seriously starting to reconsider. i doubt someone this unstable can be rehabilitated.

now a gun is one thing, even normal people can snap and fire. but a hammer as brutal murder weapon. it suggests a psychological condition. sane people don't go on a rampage with a hammer.

It's astonishingly consistent. I became aware of it with the James Bulger murder but I think it goes way back. Mary Bell was another one. Something about children who kill brings out the absolute worst in society.

Precisely. If this were a 30 year-old it wouldn't even get front page coverage. Because it's a child not only is it worse than an adult, it's so bad the child MUST BE KILLED.

the kid is old enough to know what he did was wrong and baring any extentuating circumstances, do the crime, do the time.
