Random fact: Most kids these days don't know the difference between "bitter" and "sour".

Me too. Including the peel.

But I also eat lemon salads (lemons, mint leaves, chilli pepper, olive oil, salt), so I'm probably not the best guy to ask if something is too sour...

It's a specialty of Souther Italian cuisine. They grow awesome lemons in Sicily and Campania, not too sour and very tasty. You can also mix oranges and citrons to get a more varied taste.

I quite like limoncello myself.
