I'm talking about the only pic that doesn't have a name attached, just a face. He's Michael T Weis, formerly known as "The Pretender"... know in MY household as the man with the best looking jawline in all of television.. especially with his 5 oclock shadow! (And usually I don't like facial hair!)

Please bare with me...when VOY premiered I was 16 going on 17...I was a fan of TOS and TNG...but casually watched DS9...anywhoo...Janeway was as people today would call her a "cougar" so that appealed to me...I thought Kes was cute but the character wasn't too appealing... in fact the only characters I enjoyed were The Doctor & Janeway...and then when Jeri Ryan/Seven Of Nine was added...I completely exploded...OMG!!! I love JR/Seven. Thanks for reading my ridiculous post.

OMG! I completely exploded when she was added and I love her too!!!! She was long my favorite Trek character ever. And I've been watching Trek since the TOS reruns. Her story arc and character was very meaningful to me.

No I am not fucking with you, I listed 7 of 9 as my favorite character for years. Janeway may have edged her out but I don't see why they can't both be number 1. I was completely smitten with her character and story arc and have written many defenses on this bbs in past years of 7 of 9. I can end up taking criticisms of her quite personally because I love her and I feel she is often misunderstood. The character gets blamed for some dipshit's idea that they needed more sex on VOY, she gets blamed for having large boobs which is just the way her body is shaped. It's very ironic that this character that people mock as just there for the sex appeal added no actual sex but did add one of the best developed character arcs in all of Trek.

Anyway, the 7 of 9 quote I have in my sig has been there since I joined this board and it still brings tears to my eyes when I watch that episode.

I don't get the Seven hate...to each their own...but Seven Of Nine was like a freaking super heroine...with the suit...she was smart and seemed to bring out the best of each character...including Chuckles.

I have settled on a Janeway avatar...I know 11:59 gets alot of flack...but it is from that.

Seven is sexy not only because she has a body to die for, she is sexy because she is intelligent, strong... and incredible character that improved the whole serie and improved Janeway too. Thanks to Seven I started to like Janeway.
