Anti British and Anti French views

I have noticed there are some anti UK notions in Europe.

What do you think of the UK?
What do you think of France?

Be honest.

is something soo un-British.
Cool :) Another reason to like this law !

What has the UK ever done to France? -- Except stop Napoleon :).

We deport failed asylum seekers, and also, France, banning Muslim women for expressing their religion, in effect, telling the French what they can and can't do becuase it isn't French, again,

Speaking of that, there is really no problem with this law. The women I know who were wearing a full veil don't wear it anymore. Everyone is discovering that under their Belphegor costume they're charming women and their interaction with everyone has improved. Incredible...

...

Aswell as saying the UK is uncool!

France are our ungreatful neighbours - It seems. :)

Charles De Gaulle blocked the UK's entry into Europe for the longest time ever... We liberated his country. :)

UK: It's an island nation comprising Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and a constitutional monarchy.

France: It's a large republic in Western Europe.

Both nations formerly had overseas empires, and both are permanent members of the Security Council.

Besides that, I dunno.

The stuck up toffs/cheery cock-er-nees with bad teeth and an almost religious devotion to Tea/The Queen? The garlic eating beret wearing ennui-ridden existentialist onion sellers?

Love 'em. They're all very lovely. Very, very lovely.

The fat Manchester louts who drink beer smoke fags and whine about this/that.

The French have done nothing but stab us in the back since we saved their asses during WWII :p.

As an American, I love the UK, and have quite often, bought into American Francophobia. Although now i do it more in an ironic sense.

They stabbed us in the front plenty enough too, over the centuries. ;) Formidable opponents, no matter the silly jokes today.

Basically I always thought part of the problem is the British sense of humour, which enjoys playing up the love/hate relationship - and sometimes the French don't find it quite so funny. So I think we annoy them a bit, frankly .

To be quite fair old chap, we have not exactly been lacking in annoying the rest of the world, what what?!

{goes back to drinking tea}

Let the word ring from Calais to Dover; the BBS Britain Vs France grudge match begins!

Hold on to your berets and teacups, its the long-awaited showdown between Limeys and Frogs in full BBS splendour! Pick a side, choose a team, and remold the diplomatic framework of our community!

The winning nation shall, as a French knight of my acquaintance put it, taunt the loser a second time!

As much as i love cock, i gotta go with the British on this.

"Homer, what's your least favorite country, Italy or France?" "France." "No one ever says, 'Italy.'"

Next time I will be more careful, I shouldn't tease everyone, some can't take it very gracefully

Well to be honest, I just got the impression of 'rude French person' from you, who seemed to be biest anything anti British, but that's a sterotype and I guess, most of your Anti British stuff was maybe to meet my Pro British stuff, -or- You just hate the UK. lol
