Let see... hands, nice arms, tank top, low tank top that insinuates her forms, a bomb... sweat! Yeah, this pic just made me drool

Thanks, tecake :techman:

BAMF should be her middle name

ugh I am constantly having problems with tumblr. I am using google chrome now and it IS much better (mr. teacake informs me they are now spying on me, hopefully the bamfness scares them). However I still end up switching browsers when something mysteriously doesn't work.

Anyway.. how do you put two pics in the same post without it turning into a slide show? I don't want a slide show. I have tried using the pic icon thingie where you put in the url and it does not show up. The pic just has a X box.

Oh well. Here thread, have some Admiral.

You can't but! you can create a photo post, enlace one of the pics as you always does and, in the box text, click the image button and add one there by its URL (You need to upload it in other place) But what people does is simply create two photo posts when they do not want to create a slideshow.

Hello, hello, Admiral

Ah I have tired to do just that Spalko, linking from flickr the url, after making sure the photos were public. But it didn't work, the photo was just an X box (little box with an x in it). I tried it a gazillion times :(

Oh, :/ I usually upload them to my photobucket or to imageshack, but never to flickr, so I cannot tell you if the flickr photos should work or not.

Create two posts. All the people does it, in fact I'm doing it right now with some scans. People doesn't complain about it.

Blogger is so much more flexible.

Okay I made two pic posts in a row. How did someone make THIS post:

http://threeofeight.tumblr.com/post/5958614659/reasons-you-never-added-people-you-go-to-school

Which is not a slide show?

Doing the same I told you. Adding pics in the text box. As simple as that. That's why people create long posts with pics.

do something, try to do it and I'll tell you if I can see your pics or not (perhaps the error it's only in your browser)

I went by Spalko's site and saw one of my favorite Kate images. I too wish there was a better quality site to be found with images of this shoot.

The smile: the joy and mischievousness that radiates from her is electric

Then the way she will play with her hair is so very mesmerizing

Are you ready to be up close to this kind of awesome, teacake?

Apologies but just had to post this from my new-KM crush: Helen Magnus

Are there any women in sci-fi that you admire?

Definitely. Nichelle Nichols, for starters. Even though she still had to wear the short skirts as Uhura on the original "Star Trek," she broke ground, not only as an African-American woman on sci-fi but a woman on a spaceship with a bunch of dorky men. She was a huge inspiration when I was a kid. And then Kate Mulgrew, and definitely Gillian Anderson, because I think she broke ground in that she wasn’t what people typically expected a female lead of a show to be.

She's also mentioned Janeway in video interviews. Guess she's an obvious role model (how many bamf females are there in SF?), but it just makes me happy she acknowledges the Janeway awesomeness :)

And what appears to be some kind of Dalek weapon.. that she ripped off a Dalek.. and is now using against them. Because she is a BAMF.

I am watching "The Evil of the Daleks" (reconstructed) right now. It would definitely benefit from a guest appearance by Captain Janeway. I know, most shows would. However, Janeway vs. Daleks is something that I think would rock my world on a very profound level.

I am unsurprised that Amanda Tapping recognizes the awesomeness of Janeway. She's a smart cookie - and still contributing lady-BAMF to the world of sci-fi on an ongoing basis.

Also, just posted this in Shat's rewatch thread. (*sobs* I will miss it so!) It needs to be here, too. Just realized I never actually posted it, since I had it as my avatar for a while.
