How is Janeway sexy?

Oh then mine would be:

Seven/Janeway (it's a tie)
Alice's Borg Queen
Data/Lore
Picard
The Doctor

Ok. It's late here and this old fan needs to go to bed and dream about my favourite trio J/me/7 ;)

ooohh:alienblush::evil: Thanks for posting.

It would be a hard list to draw up, mine in no real order
1 Kirk/Janeway
I really can't decide I love them both. I don't care for small universe syndrome in fanfics, but I could see one of Janeway's great grandfathers being Kirk's nephew.
2 Seven
3 EMH Doc, If Picardo was hosting the WWE I might be able to stand watching it.
4 T'Pol, sure there is much to complain about with the show, but I adored her in it. Sadly, the show often undercut her strength for ridiculous angst all to often.
5 Spock, Amanda and Sarek, Nimoy and Marc Lenord together are just magic. Add Jane Wyman's wit and you've got a great Vulcan comedy episode.
6 Sisko Like Seven, no explanations needed.
7 Garak
8 Quark and family. I love the Ferengi.
9 McCoy I like the character a bit less as I get older. Sometimes I just want to see someone tell him to shut up about Spock. Sometimes, it goes too far into xenophobia for my liking.
10 Reginald Barclay and Data, I wouldn't want him all the time, but he was a breath of fresh air on the all too perfect TNG Enterprise. He and Data, as well as Guinen were all I liked about that show. I do like Picard, but he doesn't quite make the list. I do like Picard more in the movies than on the show.

Right up there with Xena/Joxer shippers:evil:

I have never been a fan of Xena (I think that I only watched two episodes) but even I do realize the atrocity of that pairing
You do not know the power of the darkside.
http://xenajoxer.tripod.com/

I always imagined her tolerance for Joxer was that he may have had a lot of similarity to her dead brother. His death was one of the things that pushed her on to become what she was. I imagined that was why she had the patience for him that she'd never have for anyone else. I always could more believe they were soul mates than Xena and Gabrielle. Rene O'Conner was great as Gabby, I just could never believe Xena putting up with her annoying girl schtick.

The POWER of the Dark Side.... "A Web Page Devoted To The Continued Exploration and Celebration Of The (Probable And Completely Plausible  ) Relationship Between Joxer The Mighty And Xena: Warrior Princess (and NO, we're not kidding!) "

After chatting with Saturn5 over this very subject I am aware of this theory. Naturally, I chalk it up there with the flat earth cultists. ;)

As I said before, I only watched two episodes so I do not know too much about the whole plot. I didn't like Joxer because he was the comical relief and those are the characters I do not bear. So I cannot opinate here.

On Xena, there are two characters that truely evolved over the course of the series. First and foremost, was the character of Gabrielle who went from fangirlfarmgirl to a Kick ass Amazon Warrior in her own right, one who never lost her heart of gold.

And then there was Joxer, who truly WAS the comic relief. A character brought in to allow Gabrielle to STOP being that person in the show. Even though he remained the comic throughout his lifetime... we came to see how deep his heartfelt love was for Gabrielle, and more so for the family he eventually came to create. In this way, I look at Joxer the way I look at "Bud" in "JAG". Mac and Harm only played at love, while Bud fell in love, married, and had a family... angst included.

I did see him as the annoying little brother in Xena's life... although not really the the replacement for the dead brother she mourned throughout her life. I also saw them as kindred spirits in their love for Gabrielle, which "she and I" saw but Joxer never realized.

Oh, there is much to dislike about Joxer, my favorite use was the 'Groundhog Day' take off where Xena wakes up and buries the Chakram in him. The smile on her face as she goes back to sleep, Gabby's utter horror at what Xena did.

Now Governor... to be FAIR to "my" Warrior Princess... the time loop IMMEDIATELY before THAT " unfortunate murder of Joxer" was the one where Xena LET Joxer have his way in trying to solve the repeating day problem. You recall... when he declared WAR on both houses, hoping they would unite in their mutual hatred of the (three) outsiders and then he would just throw down their weapons and proclaim "peace". :wtf:

Yeah... like THAT happened.

The three were killed in the town square by MULTIPLE arrows... and (thankfully for Joxer & Gabrielle) XENA was the only one to remember the pain of that death. :scream:

16 seconds... :guffaw: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd8HMZ8MkWk[/yt]

Now... to bring this back to MY Captain... :bolian: The song you hear in the first half, is Xena singing to Gabrielle during their "rift". Works well, considering the rift Janeway felt during parts of her own Voyage. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIcxgRwzf4c[/yt]

Part 3: Conclusion... (I love it when the Doctor reads from Dante, and when Torres, Paris, Seven, Harry and even Chakotay give their vote for the woman sitting in the captain's chair.) "Set a course... for home". [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stcjyfDgDqQ&feature=related[/yt]

Was thinking about this thread on the way home from work today. My big thing is this: Janeway is sexy for this reason: When she says you can either do something her way or she'll blow up your ship everyone on board her ship *and yours* is left absolutely certain she'll blow up your ship if you test her.

Let's face it, in First Contact, when Picard saw the Borg Queen he was quivering in his boots (not that I blame him, but for comparison here). When Janeway saw the Borg Queen she was looking at 7 like "this lame bitch?" And Janeway would have conked the Borg Queen over the head with the butt of that phaser rifle too.

I think Picard is a very brave captain... but, in my opinion, of course, Janeway has more guts (and I love this)

Picard was a diplomat.

Janeway was a strategist(yes, there is a difference :))

Sisko was a warrior.

Kirk was an explorer.

Archer was . . . teacake what would you classify Archer as?

And of course . . .

Yes, yes, I know that Picard is a diplomatic. What I'm saying that Janeway has more guts than Picard leaving aside their characteristics are captains, I mean as a person but, like I said before, that's my opinion.

Edit: Picard was always my nº1 captain but, after watching Voyager, Janeway got to that place.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. :)

I was just doing the list

I'm torn between Picard and Janeway, I love them both equally on all accounts but I can't decide. I have categories for the series too since I can't decide my favorite.

And I just had the most awesome thing of verbal displacement or whatever it is called.

But I was going onto Mod the Sims to download the Voyager crew, minus B'Elanna since she doesn't work for some reason, and I saw that froot was online and I was looking at Seven and I said, "Did I download Froot already?" :D

Picard and Janeway are my favourite captains so yeah, I understand you ;)

Tell us ;)

Oh Sims, I could only play it a couple of days... if I had had the Voyager crew, I bet that I would have been more interesting in it and in the possible pairings that I could create

I love Sims. And I can play it now so I've been playing it non-stop. :) I even have Sims3 on my iPod Touch.

I could give you the link to the creators page if you like, it's completely free. and I sound like an infomercial.

Oh agreed. :drool::techman::drool:
